Waking up with No memories and a dead father, outside of that I can get into most things as long as its well written.

I feel like the dead father, or the dead beat dad, or the unaware dad, the dad cheating in which gives teh son a chance to go after the mother, or just anything deading with fathers. trope is just meh and seems like the most drawn out trope.

It's also a simple and effective way to insta-mature young males (dad is ded im sad and mature now). Also: one less character to worry about.

Are you implying kids raised by a single mother are more mature? That's not what I've seen. Sad != mature.
I'm not referring to real life but from an author's point of view, a traumatic event like the death of father is an easy catalyst to explain the maturity and/or independence of his son.

Death of a loved one is definitely a great catalyst for a story. I was just pointing out that maturity is pretty far down the list of things it is a catalyst is for. Make it a catalyst for anger, bad decisions, movement, revenge, etc. etc. But maturity? Nah. Give the MC some major fuck ups to overcome for that.

My case is quite particular and out of the ordinary.
What I hate most is a bad story, especially if it is accompanied by poor camera handling. In other words, I don't know if you have noticed that you have a scene and a camera, then, the next image of the same conversation, same scene and the camera changes slightly angle, sometimes there are even lighting changes. This happens almost always because the developer forgot to lock the camera when they created the scene and accidentally moved it, and then they didn't remember where it was exactly before... And the worst of all is that it is easily fixable just by looking at the camera position in the previous image, and then copying everything into the new image with the problem... But most are so lazy that they don't do it... And that's a cliché nowadays.

The none troll reason is that fathers fall outside of the core fantasy, so why include them. Netori is another, separate genre.

Not wrong, but it does get a bit tried some on that when it comes to adding fathers in the game. And Netori i find is boring also. But i think another i do get tried is futadom and femdom too, don't get me wrong i love futa both male on futa and futa on male but futadom same with femdom tend to get gringy a lot now a days.
I see this opinion often, but evil people don't almost ever think they're evil. most IRL rapists have some kind of delusion that the victim liked it or that it wasn't rape, and the strength of that belief (RMA, the rape myth acceptance scale) correlates with being a rapist. it's ofc a matter of taste to prefer an mc who owns up to being a rapist but it's not very realistic.
