I think most games just play into the submissive fantasy a bit easier:
Story & Choice - put simply, Sub games tend to have a limit by design on what you can do, because you're not the one in control of the overall situation. Like, maybe you can choose to obey or resist when a captor wants you to suck their dick in a scene, but you're still probably gonna suck dick. The Dom character has all the control, and if you're portraying a game from the Dom perspective, you have to be able to account for as much of what the player wants to do, or give a good reason as to why you can't do that. Because the work goes up exponentially, that tends to either lead to shallow games with lots of choice, or limited choice with lots of detail and a fleshed-out MC who isn't just a player insert (if done well anyway).
Rewards - If you lose in a sub game, you see sex content, and if you win, you usually progress on to see a new or different kind of sex content. Just playing and not losing also tends to be a nice bit of buildup because of all the risks you take and the act of struggling onwards. Like, here - I'm betting this has a slightly awkward control scheme like his last game did, and that's intentional, because it feeds in to the restrictive feeling you should be getting from bondage.
On the other hand, games where you play as a Dom rarely give you content for losing. Or, worse (for people wanting Dom content anyway), you get Sub content instead. I'm not really into Dom stuff so I may be wrong here, but struggling towards Domming someone and failing multiple times doesn't seem to be that attractive in that fantasy. And, if you're too powerful, there may not be much actual "game" to play. So, I think people bother with unique mechanics less, and just go straight for a "you win, now fuck" sort of thing.
That said, I think I could see how a good game could be put together - say, a game where you have to carefully plan out a kidnapping against someone powerful, or something where you play like a horror movie villain and try to scare the victim as much as possible before you make your move, but I feel like it'd need to be done to a VERY high quality, by someone who really gets that kink, and still need plenty of cases where you get sex content.
Anyway, *ahem*, back onto this game: I'm expecting this to be pretty much the same as the last; Interesting premise and probably fun to struggle with for a few minutes, but I'm guessing no real sex content again and I don't think it's going to be built up enough for the gameplay to be properly erotic. If I haven't come back to edit my comment, then I'm probably right.
