VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Motherless [v0.22.1.0] [Mr.Mister]

It looked interesting at first this game, but quick reveals that its definitely scrapping the barrel end of Quality AVNs.


I only rate it 2 stars because there has and is alot of effort being put into this by the Developer.



But Frankly its very poor. the models although are generally good quality, are horrendous to look at. i mean it might just be me and my tastes... but every female model is the same basic formula... big tits, massive arse, body builder bodies complete with thigh and calf implants. not at all pleasant.

In fact the only true different model i've come across is the granny.


Story wise.... there's a story atleast. abit simple and far fetched but its there.


not sure why theres choices in this VN, as it doesnt seem to matter if i want a lewdscene or not with any character, your forced into it.



the other thing thats incredibly annoying. literally every female character the MC meets, within seconds falls in love or so overcome by lust that within afew scenes its time for the lewdscenes, and not a one is bothered weather or not if the females or MC are in any relationship, married or even gay (valerie for instance, a gay women who switches side after meeting the MC. the gay man who suddenly wants to bang a woman all the time???), they all drop those panties within seconds of meeting the MC.



If your after an Adult Visual novel with a good story, maybe some feels, engaging characters with personality, maybe abit of romance build up etThen this is not for you.



If your after Porn Visual Novel that is just constant lewdscenes one after the other. then this is the one for you.

The MC has the look, but is annoying and cringeworthy unfortunately. Let's jump right in.


Story:

There's this odd looking blob of a child who stays with one chick (Valerie) ends up in some odd religious cult school where they "fancy" little boys. He ages and runs away where he stays will another chick (Gisselle) until he's older and his journey begins, he gets pussy, there's weird and obnoxious sounds effects the whole nine yards. Not much there, but I found this game annoying, the MC is like some Fabio wannabee, who zero personality, yet bags all the girls instantly, no real relationships or build ups, just nothing.

His annoying name Sunny, which can't be changed by the way adds to the rage, if you're making a game please give players the option to change the name completely it breaks immersion when I'm constantly called Sunny, I can't stress enough how annoying I found that.

Characters:

Nothing special, slutty Mom turned nun, Valerie was probably the best character early on... until she wasn't. She quickly had a change in personality and give in to "Sunny" as do all of them. It just gets old fast, no real romance, just a lot of "Oh Yeah!!" and "Haaa".

Renders:

Average renders, most of the models look plastic, there are grainy renders, but it evens out.


Overall I'm just not impressed by Fabio and his quest for more "Oh Yeah!!!".

If I could rate this game with 10 stars, I would give 11.
In my opinion, everything is fine in it.
The pictures are bright and rich, they are simply pleasing to the eye and I like their approach to illustrating events.
On the one hand, the plot is straightforward, but it allows the player to make a choice without confusing him in many unnecessary options. The options remain, and given the colorfulness of the novel, I would like to try to change some events.
Personally, the process of the game does not tire me much, but only pleases me. Especially it should be noted the lack of relations with loli, which I really like.
To a small drawback, it can be attributed to the inability to leave only those who you want nearby and add another character to your personal harem.
But in principle, this is a trifle that does not interfere with playing with pleasure.

P.S.
A good idea always comes with a delay, it would probably be chic if the costumes of the main characters could be made a little fetishistic and modern - vinyl, leather, latex. On the wonderful figures of the heroines, it would look gorgeous and add piquancy and charm. I hope that such thoughts have occurred to the distinguished author. Thanks again for a great game. For me, she is in the top five of the best

Motherless - v.0.11.4.0

Are you tired of blueballing slow burners? Are you tired of having to see the main menu of a VN, just when things were about to get hot? Well boy, do i have the game for you

Introducing: Sunny. The archetypical Don Giovanni/Lothario, who successfully nails every woman, whether they be nuns or cowgirls. This guy has the Holy-trinity of what every woman is physically looking for in a man: Face, Body and Balls. That means you won't have to awkwardly fap to an 18 year old with the face and body of a child, but the dick of a horse, giving it hard to a supermodel. But of course, to even the scales, the dev had to create some fucking sex-bombs for the MC to ravage, and he did. The women in this novel are extremely pleasing to eye and down-right sexy. Their curves, their tits and their ass, are something to behold. But without sounding too much like a simp, i'll leave the rest for you to experience.

My only problem with this novel, which other reviewers have also expressed, was the dialogue. I perfectly understand this myself, being someone from a non-English speaking country, with a subpar understanding of grammar etc. But nothing ruins a boner quite like broken sex-talk.

But from my perspective, this game was the perfect cure for my blueball blues. And that much is apparent for the constant lewd/sex scenes.

Aw, Sunny, ya big galoot. Seriously, though you do get to rename him. But I like Sunny for the MC. He looks like a Sunny. He's a teenage boy in a Greek God's body. He's just trying to find his mom, of whom there are several contenders. They're all supermodels, of course. And just like when two very attractive people meet, they get interested in each other. But Sunny actually earns his harem, by doing good deeds. He's likeable, that big, dumb friend who's strong as an ox but wouldn't hurt a fly. He's a Pixar character.

I have to say, looks matter with these things, and I love the look of the women in this VN. That is what brings me back. The typical DAZ assets have been toyed with just enough to make them both different and striking, like that actress in the TV chess series - you know the one I mean.

It's a VN with obscure choices and minigame elements, and there's not enough complexity to reward reply, so use a mod. There's sound and music as well, but I find that hit or miss with VNs.

The renders are a real mixed bag. In general the quality is good, not great. There are continuity issues, and lots of static images, like a person's face while they're talking on the phone. I have to say I find the sex scenes somewhat... dull. I mean, if I had the talent and the graphics card, I'd do a lot more with these beautiful women than the dev does. To me, the sex scenes are conventional, but maybe I'm jaded by too many VNs?

On the other hand, there are some sequences that are sheer, creative brilliance. The one I come back to, repeatedly, is where Sunny meets the three women at the airport, and he greets each one in turn in a different way, dancing, embracing, dipping. It's dynamic and joyous and really captures the giddy pleasure of meeting someone you love after a long absence.

The plot really goes all over the place. I think it's driven by the need is to create scenarios for Sunny to save the day, so there are flashbacks and secrets and mafia and all sorts of things like that.

Speaking of mafia, where does this game take place? It looks like North America, but people talk like it's Italy, and I think some of the supermodel-mothers are from Eastern Europe. All very international.

Dialogue is a problem. I hate to criticize non-native English in these things. It's too easy to do, and the last thing I want is for talented devs to become dispirited just because English isn't their native language. But good dialogue is what makes the reader actually read the VN as opposed to just click-thru to the sex scenes. The dialogue here is illusion-breaking, like that uncanny, bad movie subtitle English we've all seen. Yeah, it's bad. This is unfortunate, because there is a lot of affection in this VN. People have sex because they actually like, even love each other, which is nice. I just wish it sounded more natural.

Entire thing felt like static. Like a TV running in the background that you're not really paying attention to, because it's not really that interesting.

Deleted before long, it was just a series of pictures with some obstacles in the form of chosing an random option, that you wouldn't know what did if not for the WT mod.

Interesting story, lots of love interest, lots of characters, expanding storyline with every update. Also regularly updated in 15-20 days. And Dev always active on forum you can ask whatever you want and he'll always answers and also react your comment.

Story: 2/5. The story started off well. I was intrigued and genuinely interested in how it was going to progress. However, as the it progressed, I simply became bored.

Renders: 3/5. The quality of the renders are decent. However, all of the female characters' bodies seems to be the same. Maybe a different skin tone, but almost a cookie cutter copy of the other. They all seemed to have big breast and over inflated butts. If this had simply been the description of one or two female renders, then no problem. However, this seemed to be every female render.

Grammar: 4/5. I didn't notice any major problems with the grammar in this game.

I've giving this game an average rating. This doesn't mean that this game is horrible. It just isn't in my wheelhouse.

While the story may not be the best compare to other novels on here, it still has it's own flavor to it.

What I do like about this game are the characters and their renders. There plenty of characters to chose from that fits your type of women. Also, their was a few moments that made me laugh Also, the sound effects are something else. In the story for what it tells is definitely unique. One thing the author should improve is the animation. I think it can make this novel be even better.

Well, I don't expect great writing in a porn game, but this one's just poor. The characters acted so braindead und unbelievable that I could not get myself to finish the game. Renders are not great (faces often look weird and the clothes look like glued to the body) but ok otherwise. I have the feeling that choices don't really matter, so you just click along the story, that's basically it.

Tonally this is all over the place. It really feels like the writer started writing one scene, got bored, and came back with a totally different approach and instead of starting over, just picked up where they left off. The art is not great either - everyone looks like a plastic sex doll. And I don't just mean that they all have the same body shape, I mean that their skin looks like shiny molded plastic too. There's a scene at the beginning with two impossibly shaped women where one has on a bikini top, then doesn't, then does again, then doesn't again, then does again, etc. Like I said, it really feels like the dev keeps walking away and coming back without remembering details like what the characters are supposed to be wearing in a given scene, or why one character was calling another on the phone, or what a character's motivation is in any given conversation.

The potential is there, but it needs some major proofreading and editing.

I really love this game, there are a lot of girls that I really like with a huge amount of content. The renders are good enough to make me "Di Papa Lespaguetty" and it completely does the job, no slow burn and straight to what you come for. The story is fun with a lot of interesting and memorable moments.

The developer is always helpful and very active in the community, there are new updates with good content every so often.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to new content.

Really great game. Updates every 15 days so no long wait. Great renders, good story and no slow burn. Slow burn sucks. Find out new things about characters every so often, though if you paid attention to the (admittedly ultra long) intro you'd guess much of it.

First thing i saw is the main menu with handwritten words, but they look like written with a very bad sketchpad.

I started the actual game and i saw a conversation where a girl looked like she needed help because someone was chasing her, so she calls a "friend" and talks to her about stuff, but doesnt ask her for help wit the creep.

The day passes and they both are at the beach and they are in bikinis and they look horrendous. The girls butts look like implants, also they need like 1 KG of hamburgers every day for a year to reach an aceptable healthy body.

They look like barbies, literally, but thinner and i guess they have nipples, but thats it. If you like real women, dont get even close to this game, you will feel instantly disgusted. This is below amateur.

If you like dudes and transexuals, this is the right game, the girls look like dudes with implants everywhere, but they dont have penises.

Great game! Great renders, funny and engaging storyline! Great work Mr. Mister! The only qualms i have is some of the forced scenes like intercourse with the old lady that is not my kink or cup of tea, and i really wish that was optional because that was pretty gross. I purposely went out of my way not to talk to her at all times then bam forced to have sex with her at the pool not cool Dev. On another note I love your name is it a shoutout to the 80s Band Mr. Mister I love their music

The storytelling (not sure whether this is the right term, I mean the way scenes are connected and related, the use of different times and places for the scenes etc) is at places interesting, but the story itself as well as the writing is awful, the MC an unappealing pretentious schmock and inconsistently written. It is unclear why the LIs are all interested in MC, but it is clear instantaneously that they all are, there is not much of a challange or development.
Renders are a matter of taste, some I found nice, others bordering on scary.
All in all the game did have some really interesting aspects for me (I cannot quite put my finger on it, but some things were done in an original and unexpected way), but the really bad story, writing and horrible MC made it hard for me to appreciate it...

the game has a good story and the character models are all new unlike other games that has been using the same character models, also, the animation could do some work. The update is also very fast with a lot of renders on every release

So I'm back a few months later. v0.14. I wanted to follow up to see if anything about this has been improved. It hasn't. In fact the quality, especially in season 2 has gone DOWN. It's kind of remarkable, actually. Going back in and reading through everything, I'm positive that all the 5 star reviews are literally just because they saw sex in a "game." There are better places to see it than this VN.

You play as the MC who, no matter what you name him, is called Sunny for a while. Which gets confusing later on because THERE'S ANOTHER CHARACTER NAMED SONNY. REALLY? He has sunny blonde hair, that's why. His mother, Anastassja, gets pregnant by an italian mob boss but wants to focus on her career so she gives her son to her best friend, Valerie, that is a lesbian but wants a kid. Mind you she's married to a man, only on paper, to appease her parents. But the husband wants more, or at least sex so he's mad. It's poorly established that the birth mother doesn't want him to be spoiled and has to know that the world is cruel(?). And Valerie loves the MC unconditionally from the moment she sees him and all is perfect.

Three years later, Valerie and MC (I really don't want to say "you" because at no point did it feel like there was room for a self insert.) are happy and fine, however, the husband is still grumpy that Val only likes women and won't sleep with him. So he gets MC sent to a religious boarding school so he doesn't have to have you around. Valerie is hurt, MC is sad, the birth mother, Nat is upset to have to do that to you, and it tries to push itself as being a tragic backstory. But the dialog, writing, and engrish are so bad that you can't feel anything for these characters.

EVENTUALLY MC runs away from the school at 14 or so, and go to California, because he heard his mother was a model that lives there. Oh, I almost forgot, the writing doesn't let you forget that all the women are super attractive, or models, or just the pinnacle of human beauty. Anyway. MC makes it to Cali, and lives under a lifeguard tower for like a day. Then suddenly a young couple, Kelly and Gissell, find you and adopt MC on the spot because they are a carefree hippy couple but Kelly is also a super soldier that trains MC to fight? And MC has a happy life until Kelly dies at sea, Gissell mourns him and never loves again, but somehow MC still becomes god's gift to women. A long haired muscle clad adonis, with a psychology degree, trained in physical therapy, all yoga and erotic arts and whatever else needs to be Mary-Sue'd into the MC. When MC goes to get a job, miraculously, it's with Valerie. Who MC doesn't remember, and she's too depressed to remember MC.

THAT is 90% of the story in this. And I like to think I told it pretty well. The issue is all of that is written and established like total garbage in game. Also all of that is told before all the sex scenes. I mention that because this game jumps through sex scenes all the time. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if they didn't play out the exact same way every time: MC meets the girl, says one or two nice things, the girl voraciously throws herself at MC, you get one or two, if you're lucky, sex animation loops, the girl squirts (The game makes sure to point that out) and MC finishes inside her. Then she falls in love with him. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN in this game is either a virgin or pseudo virgin. Meaning before MC they've never felt pleasure from anything sex related and MC has descended from the heavens to have sex with them.

On top of all of that, the game changes its interface or style three times. It goes from Dating sim; Earning points with love interest of choice. To Kinetic Novel; Choosing yes or no to which girls you want to magically fall in love with you. And finally to a Sandbox in this latest update; You jump around to whichever girl you want to see content with. And in the latest update there's no repeatable content. So don't waste time making a new UI.

The scene quality goes down in season two as well. The MC goes back to his birth mother's family in Ukraine, and the textures and environment models are hilariously bad. The ground texture in the car workshop was probably a 240x240 image stretched out. And then when you make it to you grandmother's home, it's actually made out of construction paper. Not to mention the story "progress." The MC is essentially in a shadowy mob family that controls the world's wealth but only believe in incest. But as soon as thats thrust upon the MC it doesn't matter when he brings up his girlfriend. And this game really drive that incest thing. I think there is three different levels of that fetish. Your mother, Nat. Step-Mother, Val. And adoptive older sister/mother type, Gissell. And those aren't the only ones. And they try to do the whole "PLEASE TYPE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS CHARACTER" thing. BUT ONE OF THE CHARACTERS GIVES BIRTH TO YOU. I don't get why people are into it so much. But whatever that's the prominent fetish and it never shut up about it.

I don't ask for much in these games, I just don't like when the story is just the MC walking 12 steps and tripping over sex. And all of the renders make the characters give the player the dumbest, most condescending looks through the whole story. And once again I wrote this long review, and if anyone made it this far into the review, you won't like the story to this game. You might laugh at the facial animations because there awful. And if you really need to see DAZ models having sex just download the program yourself, because this story doesn't add anything.

I appreciate that some people just want a jerk off game, but so far I have played through pretty much the first hour and have just been reading an erotic novel. The choices I've made seem to impact precisely jack and squat, and I'm required to have sex with characters with no choice in the matter.

The overall style might be fine for some, but I like to play these games so I can have a little impact on the story, otherwise I would just watch porn.

The first thing you notice about Motherless is its high artistic level.
Talking about the technical aspect of the sound, it is divided into ambient sound and some extra stuff depending on the scene, this makes it more immersive.
And best of all, there's a story! Many times these VN are flashy, good design, but they fail to tell you a story, they feel empty, like excuses for H scene, but here you feel it has a plan, a story, it has defined characters. I really recommend it!
