what I figured out on Windows is that when you custom change your name and hit "continue" it defaults back to Max. But if you custom change your name and hit "enter" it saves the new name.

I tried like 5 different playthroughs and still can't figure out how to unlock "stay and watch" option when Kim's changing in her room.
You need to be a 'Bad Boy' with Kim to unlock that option.

I like it for most of the parts. Unusual renders,plenty of choices and paths. And that require name saves,otherwise until the next update we will forget everything. Also MC name change doesn't work for me. I did change it when started,but they still call me Max...

Because 99% of these "sandboxes" are just visual novels with extra navigation system that serves no purpose other than to annoy you with having to navigate to your bedroom in order to skip time in-between scenes or do some other redundant stuff.
You could fit almost every "sandbox" into a visual novel frame by getting rid of all the systems and you wouldn't miss a thing.
Not saying that you can't make a decent sandbox porn game it's just that you can't really do it via patreon with periodic content updates and people breathing into your neck pushing you to release worthwhile content updates everytime which in many cases leads to a sandbox game transforming into a visual novel mid development. So in the end what we get is a bad sandbox or an annoying visual novel.
I like the sandbox elements in the game, so far the game has been excellent, pace is great.
I do hope the dev doesn't do what I've noticed a lot of devs do in other games and that is introduce like 40 more different women, I personally think it's better to focus on the already existing ones.

It changes all the time. At first it’s the player’s choice, but it doesn’t take very long while there’s a moment for Max and it switches back to the player’s choice. This variation continues throughout the game.
The version is this latest pc version.
I did not. I assumed that since we are on version 2.0 the 2.0 patch was the only one needed. I'll pop both in and start from scratch.

Yeah i agree, sandboxes can be fun if done properly. And they are the only place for mutually exclusive paths in my opinion.
I hate whenever somebody mentions "replayability" when talking about a visual novel, nothing worse that having to repeat the same 90% of content just to see a different variation of one scene or a different scene that we missed because we choose a different path.
This should only happen in a sandbox setting where you can repeat said scene without having to replay the whole game from the beginning.
But yeah, different strokes for different folks. I just think that most amateur devs can't be trusted with making a proper sandbox game and while it is tempting for somebody to think that it would give them much more freedom where they could jump around and work on different storylines however they see fit at the time, it doesn't really work when making a game via Patreon and periodic releases. And it always ends up as disappointment for both the devs aswell as his supporters.
