I double this, its seriously fucking annoying, plus i think cycling through the outfit pieces is annoying, i think some inventory system like a souls game for the outfits would be better.
i kinda like the fact that the outfit system, and whole game in general, is designed to be played one handed, left handed

Yes, one-handed controls is a great feature - but it's unrelated to this complaint which is about User Interface.

They can easily implement a nice dropdown list/grid or any other kind of UI and keep the one-handed control scheme.

Subbed on Patreon to try the most recent version. No save system, no character customization besides outfit slots, and during a mission I equipped something that is "locked" because of my neck item, and I got permanently stuck in a location. Not worth your time, deleted and moved on.

Did you just make an entire new f95 account to tell everyone that the v0.1.4 beta alpha test version of a game is incomplete and work in progress...? :WaitWhat:

Nope, been a member for a while, felt like it was worth posting to warn others from wasting their time (at this stage in development). Are you going to keep making excuses for this game?

Clearly you did not read the thread (or the patreon page, for that matter) at all before subscribing to the patreon and posting here, otherwise you would have known save system, character customization and wardrobe system are all planned for 0.2.0 -all of those were discussed at length here, and the patreon has a public "0.2.0 roadmap" post explicitly mentioning those features.
As for bugs, I believe you have not mentioned anything that was not mentioned before in this very thread either...

Edit: Not to mention, the most recent version is available on Itch for free (and has been for over a month), Patreon just got it early. So if that was your only reason to subscribe... you played yourself by not checking any information you had at your disposal.

ackshually ☝

This would be a Pre-Alpha build of the game, or maybe Alpha if you stretch it. Alpha is used for games that have all their pieces but are still being worked on and tooled into proper shape, and Beta is used for games that are basically done but the devs are giving themselves a bit of extra time before release to work on user experience stuff. A beta shouldn't really be super buggy.

Though in practice, people just sling terms around without knowing what they mean anyway, so fuck it

Appreciate the clarification! I'm always reminded of the meme that Warframe has been in Open Beta for 12 years :KEK:

Hey everyone! Sorry for the overdue update, it's 0.1.5 now, it doesn't add anything new compared to the 0.1.5 on itch, it's literally the same files, so don't worry if you tried it on itch already.

Thanks for all the support once again, I'll be here more consistently from now on to listen to each and every one of your opinions!

Sorry to hear you didn't like it. Hope you will check it out again when it's more complete!
As it is right now it's in a weird state between a technical demo and a pre-alpha. A lot of the code-side problems are invalidated right now, new ones are introduced, you know, things change. The 0.1.X releases will be marked as legacy in the future most likely!

As for supporting us on patreon - as it is right now we want to keep the game free for everyone! Supporters getting early access is a way of saying thank you to people that liked it enough to decide to support us.

This could change in the future, but we won't start selling the game until we decide it's presentable enough to be introduced as a complete game, so many more features added, all the bugs squashed and so on. And even then the people that supported us would get a key to the game + probably some additional goodies for being there early!

Regarding the 0.2.0 update - we bit off more than we could chew, instead of delivering the full 0.2 update we divided our work and will be releasing everything that would go into the full update as smaller incremental versions up until 0.2.0!
So next one is going to be 0.1.6 with a lot of core systems changed and starting at the hub this time, we would like to treat 0.2.0 as a fresh start with everything being set up more robustly!

Appreciate the clarification! I'm always reminded of the meme that Warframe has been in Open Beta for 12 years :KEK:
It amuses me how even the wikipedia page for warframe acknowledges that the game is going to be in beta forever

Is there an estimated release date for the next version? Like, next month or in 2 months... something like that!

I definitely want a portable version of this and played all the scenarios of it. IDK if the armbinder is still available since I wasn't able to find it.

Do want "more" playtime and/or scenarios being done.

The "MUST GO" for the next update should be the dropdown and save or cheat. I think the save is partially useles because at some point you will run out of money, so I vote for Cheat as president. The cave update will be great!

Keep up the good work! I appreciate it that this game isn't a quick, flashy money cashgrab but actually tries to build a solid foundation first on which one can then build up from.
Sadly, this is also rather frustrating for many, and especially people online will ask for new, flashy things while not really caring for streamline updates that change code structure or whatever to make future updates easier.

It is strange how the online edition works on android, so it is just a matter of work to make it work. No, you cannot move. Maybe if the game adds controller support. I have got a Gamesir Connect 2 and DAMN BRO, it is beautiful as fuck. It has got gyro, so you can use it to play Super Mario Galaxy 2 or Zelda Tears of Kingdom.
