what does the patch do
The politically incorrect patch brings back the 'offensive' stuff, meaning the originally intended dialogue. That would be the one you want.
The snowflake patch is dead/deprecated.
honestly this bitch would be the same if the game was about a euro soccer player that no american would know and they started naming PL Bundasliga Siere A etc names that US ppl wouldnt knwo and they bitvh that its too local...Its the sport hes using...Yeah i dont mind the terminology being used and the dev actually did a great job with the feature which explains most stuff. And stuff like this got used in chapter 1 and 2 too, its just that this chapter kinda went overboard with naming loads of american sports stars and stuff which feel shallow if you dont have any connection to it imo
But maybe thats just me
well this is talking about college sports...and that is in the news right now....thinking Mountain west volleyball in particularAlright the constant right wing shit was a bearable for a while but this one sent me. Like is the constant right wing shit realllly necessary here?![]()
What? You're telling me I missed a reference to thad motherfucking castle.Nice to know Thad Castle ain't forgotten. Saw the name and instantly thought of him.
If unknown hes a funny dude in Blue Mountain State.
Its at the beginning-ish but the fact theres a crazy mofo named Thad & college football? Can't say thats coincidence. What? You're telling me I missed a reference to thad motherfucking castle.
I won't deny there is some right-leaning stuff in the game (mostly hidden by the patch). But there's nothing right or left wing about the general statement, it's more inherently apolitical than anything else. Big/mainstream media has warped the view that it's a right wing belief while simultaneously ignoring that trans men/women themselves are against it.Alright the constant right wing shit was a bearable for a while but this one sent me. There's another in Episode 3, too. During the party. Its at the beginning-ish but the fact theres a crazy mofo named Thad & college football? Can't say thats coincidence.
Not people like him. Just him. Specifically.I think if the dev wanted to mock the guy and people like him
I suppose that's fair. What I'd consider world building/character dev, some might see as filler.About the update, I thought it was weak, I like the game, but this update felt like filler to me, we didn't see any progress in relationships, maybe with Fame, but only maybe; the renders avoided showing Parker for some reason, she was there, but the renders focused a bit too much on the protagonist, I don't even remember Parker's face or what she was wearing; Yuna appeared, but she was in the background, she just happened to be in the protagonist's room, but the focus was still on the protagonist and not her; the only other character we might have seen progress with was Ria.
I'd argue the opposite on the popularity of football, but semantics.About American football, I don't know much about the sport, and I'm not interested in learning about it, so I'll avoid talking too much about it, but the dev needs to remember that it's not a widely popular sport, and all that content and conversations in a short space of time can be a bit overwhelming, so many things were said that I don't understand and mentioned so many people that I've never heard of, that I ended up simply ignoring and skipping those dialogues; I would enjoy it much more if there was less of that and more content with the LIs, after all, I'm here for them.
The stats menu has a fix up from a user here and will fixed in the next tier release. The character page has a big old warning label right above the genders, which is what I think you're referring to?One criticism I have to make is the huge amount of "exceptions" I encountered when clicking through the interface, and honestly, it's worrying to see so many problems like that, and it's something the dev could fix in a day if he wanted to.
Fuck all that. Keep writing the game like you've been doing. There's only a few that are whining. Don't change it to suit them. You're doing a great job. That dude lost all credibility when he said:Not people like him. Just him. Specifically.

Point taken about showing too much of the MC. Will be sure to give more focus on the LIs for future updates. The reason it was done like that was due to lighting. If I filmed at the opposite angle to show more of her, she'd be largely hit by light with very little in shadow department. As for Yuna's scene, I thought it was pretty well balanced between them both given how relatively short it was.

The game is about football/handegg. Most of the story is tied to it, and I don't have a ton of interest in making it a background element of the game. While I'm trying to balance the football side and the life side, there's going to be updates where there's more of one than the other. There's also going to be slower (like this one) updates mixed in with higher energy ones.

If that's what you're referring to, then no. It's not a one-day job. Have to design the UI elements, write everything out, code it all, and then make sure it's working. Beyond those, I'm having a hard time finding a whole lot else? If you could, I'd appreciate you pointing me toward the 'huge' amount of exceptions. I'm no physicist, but two doesn't exactly seem like a huge number to me.
So, please keep on doing what you're doing.but the dev needs to remember that it's not a widely popular sport
Welp, was kind of worried about this crap. Really would prefer an option to leave the trans characters out of the story entirely because so many devs can't seem to conceive that not every player sees that as anything more than a hair color preference. I would love to see the response of people if the same thing was done with religion.as for the Ivy i already rejected her like twice and still got a chance to kiss her, idk if i did something wrong but i feel like if i reject her twice then it should lock me in like a friendship path or something, i aint gonna change my mind about hitting that
You want this?
No?
You sure?
Come on, it's the same thing!
How about now?
Now?
How about now?
You sure?
Here, I'll just write them into the story as a pivotal character. Let's keep it in your face, some more.
How about now?
.......
Gonna have to echo the brother here too. I ain't american but I have been watching it for 2 years now and it's nice to see the behind the scenes world of it (specially for those hyped prospects). You're doing a very good job at world building here so write the story as you see it fit, don't force things because of what others say, not saying that you should ignore feedback though, just don't lose your goal.Fuck all that. Hell, I have several Brit friends who watch and enjoy.Gonna have to echo the brother here too. I kinda wish the MC would stick his CB role but I get the feeling that isn't going to be the case (with the coach giving him the offensive playbook and watching the exhibition game), but hey that's fair, you ain't pulling it out of your ass given the MC's talent, there's a reason why that HC from Alabama wanted him as QB.
