Well, all the AVNS I've played and that are on Steam, whether full or still in development, are the same as on Patreon, at most the only difference is the music due to copyright issues, but everyone does what they think is best. I can't support monthly and I think that buying on Steam is a support for both the developer and the artists.its just dumb to buy games on steam when you can buy them otherwise and own them for real yourself. And steam versions of avns always lag behind anyway (not in this case apparently).
Regarding whether or not it's stupid to buy a game on Steam, it's up to each person. If I have the money at the moment, I'll buy it and fuck the world.
