I haven't done that to be honest, I just tried to guess what some words meant by context. Still reading it, it's just when the subject comes to football, I only understand half of it but I don't mind. Story has me hooked =)
I'll never understand why developers are shy of putting a face for the main protagonist. Is it too much work to have a face for MC?
i think it it due to the fact that many a player (me included) like to identivi with the MC of a work at least on some lvl. helps them to get more immersed in it. giving the MC no face is a tool an author can use to enchance this

The scene is a bit broken variable-wise. Episode 3.5 basically fixes the variable there. The scene itself will be fixed at a later date. Probably once the game is finished to avoid forcing more restarts.
Didn't want to be that guy but... Literally every time Renee tries to say anything it results in an error, it makes any scene with her in it absolutely unbearable, just becomes a fest of renpy errors and pressing ignore. PC version btw

I wanted to vote on this but couldn't, I wouldve voted for making them smaller as well. Did you come to a decision about this one?

Yeah, that closed on the 4th. Make them smaller won by a fairly large margin between the two polls, so it's highly likely we'll be rolling with that provided there's no unseen circumstances for whatever reason.
The "CB actually being the best QB on the roster" legit happened at my high school. My sophomore year, the actual best QB on the team was 2nd on the depth chart but he broke his foot in August playing pickup basketball. And after 4 games (which we won because of me and the rest of the defense) they benched the starter and just made the starting RB the starting QB and we just ran every down. The guy who got hurt came back towards the end of the season but they just had him play mostly CB and S (less chance of getting hurt I guess),
The next year he's back at QB and our school had our best season in like decade
Ye thats the thing I had already downloaded the patch and nothing changed but just for good measure I did it all again, pasted the game file of the mod in the game file of the game, it asked me if i want to rewrite some files and all that, I said yes and that was it, didnt fix it, so i went back to the game's game file, i noticed the patch brought 4 files that the game folder already had before, the episode rpy file, example S01E03.rpy, S01E02.rpy etc, so I took out the old files of this and left the new ones (the ones I downloaded with the mod) didnt work again and the game automatically made new files like these 4, so i deleted the new ones and brought back the old ones (the ones i got when downloading the game for the first time). So ye I dont know what to do the patch didnt fix the issue.
Current state: the game folder has both RPY episode files of the patch and of the game after downloading normally

The mod might be conflicting with the patch itself. Not sure when or if the mod was updated after the 3.5 update. Works fine for me with no mod.
The line of scrimmage is where the play occurs. Neither time can pass this line until ball is in play.
The offence (the one with the Quarterback who throws the ball or hands its off) and defense line up on either side of the line of scrimmage. The guys who line up directly in from of the QB are the offensive lineman and their stop is stop the defensive linemen from getting to the QB or the runner (usually the Running Back, but can be QB).
The QB if they keep the ball will throw the ball to the wide receivers or tight ends. The counterpart to these players are going to be the Linebackers, Safeties, and Corner Backs (i havent played the game yet but this the MCs position) on Defense. Their objective is to stop these players from getting to the endzone. They are allowed to tackle them if they catch the ball, or disrupt the catch attempt so that the offense has to try again.
The cornerbacks usually shadow the receivers so that the QB cant make a throw to them. The safeties and Linebackerss try to read the offense and make moves based on that and again are trying to prevent the offense from gaining yards.
That brings up the concept of downs. The offense has 4 downs to move the ball 10 yards (or more yards just trying to keep it simple). Usually if the third down fails they will kick the ball (in this situation its called a Punt) to the other team and try to keep them as far back from their endzone (this makes it harder for the other team to score). Occasionally teams will go for it on the forth down, if it fails the other team gets the ball back at the current line of scrimmage. This contiues until either team scores.
Then you have Field Goals. If a team does not make it to the endzone they can opt to have their kicker kick the ball through the uprights. If they miss the other team gets the ball where the play initiated (line of scrimmage. Its treated like a fourth down.
This will be easier if you watch an explainer on Youtube. Its a little hard to grasp without watching a some football.
The corner needs to know how the read the opposing WRs well. It makes a lot of sense that one could switch to QB since the QB needs to know his WR and TE routes very well.

Hi, I was looking at the scorigami table (which is a display of all possible results, where in black are impossible results, in green those that have already happened and in white those that never happened but possible) and I see that the losing team can lose scoring 1 point, for example 6-1 or 8-1, with results like 7-1 or 5-1 being impossible
.How is that possible? I thought the safety play gave you 2 points and that's where you get the least points

Yeah, I just remember it because one happened in the college football 2013 Fiesta Bowl. I'm not sure if there has even been one in D1 college ball since then.I didn't even know it existed, I had to ask the Google AI what it was

I wanna finish this VN but oh god, I did a long pause after maybe second episode. I just can't get myself to read it thru the dragged conversations sometimes pointless, characters are also very same, no uniqueness tell me, writing gets better in later episodes.. or not?
