[Move The Chains] | S01E04 | Play Sheet #15
Yes, I'm alive. I'm sitting on a flight coming back from Las Vegas after having my flight delayed. It's also been a long time since the last Play Sheet. It's also been a long time since the last update. Shit's just been a little more chaotic than I'd really like. Thought things would calm down a bit after I graduated, but it's been the opposite thus far.
I've had some family stuff going on that I'd rather not get into. Just not something I want online. My sister's being forced out of the house she was renting, so I had to help with that. Then there was my dog. Crazy work hours for a stretch. Looking for apartments for myself. It's been a shitstorm (and show) of a few months. Instead of coming in threes, it came in sixes.
As always, I appreciate those still supporting despite the lack of content. As I've already mentioned, the update process will be changing in the future. Instead of 2000+ render, big updates, we'll be moving to a 1000-1300ish release cycle. It'll allow me to pound out releases a lot faster and get more content out. The same staggered releases for Patreon will still apply. Along with Steam.
I have a proofreader or two, but always looking for another. I know some have sent me messages. I'll reach back out when the writing is done.

As you can see above, we're at about 1900. It's not the amount I wanted to see this long into development, but not much could be done about it. As I previously brought up, this update will shy away from the lewd content. Episode 4 and the first part of Episode 5 are definitely character-focused updates. Specifically for the LIs that haven't gotten a ton of screen time yet. But Episode 4 specifically is building a few side stories to pursue. Bad, good, and somewhere in between. Actions do have consequences, but sometimes they take a little while to manifest.
Episode 4 sees some sprinkling of the aftermath of what led to MC being released, and the first part of Episode 5 will likely wrap that background story up. I've done as much research as I can, and have applied the amount of legal speak that I know. The rest was AI, so there could be some inaccuracy. Would be happy to be corrected if anything ends up being wrong, though.
Lewds will be light as already mentioned. There's a decent number of just general animations, though. Will have an updated number on the website once I've counted them out. Just haven't done that yet.
There's roughly 28-30 scenes. Many of these scenes are fairly long, however. There's a lot of subtle hints in the writing of this update. I do caution against CTRLing you're way through it.
Music will most likely be largely AI in this update. Will try to limit the obviousness of it. No other AI will be used, aside from soundboarding some dialogue.

If you take a gander you might notice something new. As of right now, it's a null button. It'll do nothing. But the code for it is largely in place. Just need to buy an API from Google and start translating. We'll likely see some new languages in Episode 5. Most likely Chinese and French. Perhaps Russian as well. It will be AI translated. Anyone who's willing to proofread eventual translations are welcome.
Returning to the topic of Blender from the last Play Sheet, it may not take as long as I originally thought. I've gotten more and more apt with Blender, and feel decently comfortable with it now. What's going to take time is making up all the jersey stuff for the players requiring focus.
I'm aware this is a very, very barebones Play Sheet. But there's not a whole lot to say beyond the update isn't that far off. There might be one more Play Sheet after this. Might not. Guess we'll find out.
Once again, thanks for the patience.
