Because lots get away with it, and Patreon will make them a lot of money, till some white knights reports them. Plus, there are a shit load of games still on Patreon that have content that Patreon doesn't care for, and/or they have patches.

theorically the 30th of november should come out with a new version, but we are not sure. Seems like he is in vacation mode till the completition of the game. At the start he set september as a date of release, but kept on moving it later and later. now it says that the version will come out the 30th of november. we just need to keep praying for the release and hope that it won't be abbandoned.

I love this game, but sadly I'm betting this is a wrap. I'm surprised they haven't marked it as abandoned. Isn't like 6 months no updates or something before F95 marks it? He's put up the same message at the end of the month for like 4 months straight. I hope I'm wrong....

1. Abandoned: used in the following cases:
   • The developer states that the development has been permanently suspended.
   • After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).
   • No game update has been released for an abnormally long period of time (>18 months).
   • Game threads that are marked On-hold for over 6 months with no game update.
   • Note: this prefix is only removed upon the release of a new update for purchase/download.

Update can go for 18 months, but with no new posts since April, it qualifies, no one probably notice or reported it that it needs the tag.
