I just assumed it was changed automatically so that it wouldn't still say on hold until October when its already November. Hopefully I'm wrong and you're right, that would give some hope.

Edit: He's still getting $304 a month for this on SS alone. Stop giving him money already. There is no hope, he will never stop being on "vacation". I LOVED this game. These girls were perfect. This is dead.

All payments in vacation mode are suspended. Furthermore, after the vacation period ends, each user must confirm that they wish to continue paying. Unfortunately, due to the carelessness of SS programmers, all these users (both those in vacation mode and those who did not confirm afterwards) continue to appear in the statistics as active payers. And by the way, the developer cannot close his project as long as there is at least one such "active" user, even if he does not bring in any money. That is why he constantly extends the vacation mode — so that everyone will finally unsubscribe. But alas...
Most likely, these are people who don't care about their expenses and have already forgotten that they are subscribers and continue to hang around as dead souls.

I just checked yesterday and it was going to let me pay. Unless when you select your tier it just doesn't take the money. Not sure, but you can still sign up for paying tiers.

I haven't checked this myself, but I've heard it from many sources (developers and subscribers). I think it would be pointless to implement a vacation mode if it didn't change anything. Most likely, you can still subscribe, but you won't be charged until the end of the vacation.
