hi me again there an update and there a error , i dont think there something wrong with my computer , i used Kaspersky and scan my comp and it said fine , i also turn off my anti virus for update but did not work ,i have used mtool for months and there a bunch of update ut this is the first time i got this

zths The following game does not seem to work. Ive dug through the files and it says it is rpgm but even though the game loads, the mtool never detects it properly. Ive also had a hard time finding the saves for this game and I cannot find any values in CheatEngine. Also, all of the .js files are md5sum marked and scanned on run, so you cant edit the scripts to cheat.

Was wondering if you can either figure out why this game isnt working, or provide any addtl info you have about why it isnt working that I might be able to dig into myself.

No, it's not supported, because it's not a normal nw.js / Electron RPG Maker game.
It uses PyQt5's QtWebEngine to run the game and checksum the game files.

i updated the Tool and now i'm having a "Err: Fillings missing" Everytime i try to run a game, i have re-downloaded the tool already. :unsure:

The latest update breaks KiriKiri2 functionality for me. When trying to open any game with KiriKiri2 engine I get this window pop up instead of game.

i updated the Tool and now i'm having a "Err: Fillings missing" Everytime i try to run a game, i have re-downloaded the tool already. :unsure:
THis goes for me as well. I had it working a few months back, but for some reason it no longer does. At first it was just having problems opening the game, but once I did, if I had hooked it and translated it initially, it was fine. Now it isn't hooking the game at all. The two .bats appear telling me to use them to start the game or remove the translation files. But when I try to start the game, I get the little error bubbles telling me that I am missing files. I tried to solve this, adding the files in via the option to do so. It didn't work. I tried to delete and download again. Same problem as before.

How do I use Mtool when running a game with locale emulator? A prior comment says to first start the game with Mtool and then with the emulator. That doesn't do anything. I need to start the game with Mtool for the translation to work and I can't use locale emulator with Mtool.

How do I use Mtool when running a game with locale emulator? A prior comment says to first start the game with Mtool and then with the emulator. That doesn't do anything. I need to start the game with Mtool for the translation to work and I can't use locale emulator with Mtool.
You can run the game first and then open mtool, locate the .exe and enable the "inject to running game" option before clicking start game. This will make mtool inject to the game and then you will be able to use it.

Hi, Im a free user and thanks a lot for this tool!
I did a simple search in here and didnt find anything, but is there a reason for the tool to use the cpu while in standby? (It consistently uses around 10% in my pc - not like its the end of the world). Thanks!

Princess of Zeven (found here) is one of the many examples of that. I usually disable BGM and leave all other sounds at 20% for these games, then I can use my windows volume control to lower it more as needed. But on the ones with no sound options, everything is left at 100%, so if I turn sound down a lot so I cant hear the BGM, I also cant hear other (sometimes important) sounds.

Lots of these games have some sort of BGM item in VAR, but I have found that changing it does no good (even if I lock it at 0).
The game mentioned above shows the following in your tool:

I have tried to grep the files to find a more specific version, but came up empty.

Also, not sure if this is even possible, but if this had an "Options" button that worked that would be cool too(instead, if this let us change sounds settings):

OK. I figured this one out and I'm an idiot. This has nothing to do with mtool. Just a pebkac error with fonts. I was playing a string of rpgm games and forgot that I changed the font to make them easier for me to read. Kirikiri needs the unifont smooth to run. Sorry for thinking it was a bad update.

Thanks. I saw one more odd thing in a different game. Unsure if you can fix or know a cause (I prob dont need it personally as I will prob be done with this game by the time you fix it, but reporting so you can look into it for others/other-games)

I started it as usual and ran the translation (bing). After it completed, 99% of the switches/vars are translated, but a few are not:

Also in this game, I am not seeing a way to edit my "SP" (skill points, you get one each level-up). Ive dug through all values that match the SP value and none match. I also checked under items and actor. Ive noticed this in a few other games. I am guessing it is stored somewher else, but I couldnt find it in Cheat Engine either (using the rpgm value type that I installed and sometimes works in rpgm games).

Not complaining, just giving you suggestions to things that others might be looking for also.
