Best font for WolfRPG games? Unicode Smooth can't seem to render %, / and other character properly.
Man I just can't play without crashing every couple of seconds, I keep getting this stupid error saying something about tried to create proc object without a block and it only happens when using Mtool.
I tried re-installing RTP, not using any hack or even editing anything but it still keeps crashing, worst part is that it happens to almost every RPGVXace game. if anyone have any solution please let me know

There is a new translator "libretranslate", you can run it completely locally, the quality is very similar to deepl.
The installation is very simple

This is a very cool feature, especially for porn games, so that the translation content doesn't leave your PC.
Now we just have to wait for MTool support.

Maaaaaaaan. I feel you. I have been reading my favorite vn using only google translate manually. This translator gave me hope, as it worked on other games I tried. After size calculation, the total size to be translated was around 12 MB and the limit was 10MB. Total bummer for me. Another things is, I have considered to subscribe to their patreon to just avail that 30 mb, but I currently have no access to payment options. This is frustrating.

Does anyone know why Windows defender detects Win32/AgentTesla!ml when I install the new update? It's the first time that it's denying mtool from updating...

Guide to running on Linux (At least on Linux Mint 22.1 Xia)
: Install Bottles through Software Manager.
: Create a new Bottle with any name you want. (Make sure it's an Application)
: Click on your new Bottle and in Settings set the Runner to sys-wine. Then go back, click the 3 dots in the top right, and click "Browse Files": Download and extract MTool in this "drive_c" folder.: Move or copy your game folder(In my case, since it's on Steam, I can find it's folder by right clicking it in my Library, clicking "Manage" and "Browse local files")
: Click "Add Shortcuts..." and change it to All Files (Above "Add" in the bottom right). drive_c → MTool →Use me to open the Tool.bat
: Add another shortcut with the path to your games .exe file (In my case: drive_c → Princess & Conquest → Game.exe
: Click the play button for MTool.
: In the tool, uncheck "Simplified UI" in the bottom left. Then check "Inject to running game" along with "Lazy inject".
: Click on the text asking you to select a game executable file.
: Click on My Computer → C: → Game's Folder → Game.exe
: Back in Bottles, click play on Game.
: In MTool, click "Start Game".
Depending on the size of the game, how much text etc, the game might take longer to load the translation data. Just give it about 30-60 seconds before loading into a save. For me it crashed the first time it loaded the translation data so if that happens just try again.
Edit: If you wanna still count the hours on Steam, then go to the drive_c folder again and make a "Steam" folder in it. Then you must add a new Library folder on Steam (Click Steam in the top left → Settings → Storage → Click on your current storage → Add Drive → Let me choose another location, then paste the path to the folder titled "Steam" in the drive_c folder). Then add this as a launch option and run the game in Steam instead of running the game directly through Bottles.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 /usr/bin/flatpak run com.usebottles.bottles run --bottle "Bottle Name" "Game.exe path in drive_c"
Replace Bottle Name with the name of your bottle (Keep the quotation marks) and replace the game path with your own (also keep the quotation marks on this one).
In MTool the process is the same to find the Game.exe file, just a different path since it's in the steam folder instead of its own folder.
Previous edit just stopped working for me so instead just click "Install Programs..." in Bottles and download Steam, download whichever game inside the virtual Steam environment, then run said game and lazy inject, inject into running game.

I swear the VirusTotal gets worse every time I check. I could still see this just being falsely flagged since it has an injector in it, but still spooky nonetheless.

Usually, I'll have to manually allow threats on Windows Defender for Mtool every 1-2 months in order for the program to run, but now it's been happening every 2 days instead. Is it because Windows Defender is getting better at flagging unusual files?

RGSSHook (or a similar name, I'm afraid I don't accurately remember the file name) got detected and removed by my antivirus when I attempted to inject into a running game. Launching the game from mtool still works, but I prefer to use the inject option.
Man, kirikiri and Mtool really don't like each other...

Problem is, that a scenario file gets corrupted when MTool translates it (or just reads it, I guess?) and you happen upon it in game (and of course, it's the almost last file before the ending lol... and no way to continue with the tool; persists when 'Restore original text' is chosen, too)
All others until this one worked fine (and looked okay). But not surprisingly, I get an error immediately in game while trying to continue as that scenario file is loaded in MTool. Tried 'Delete Cache and Reload' and then translating with Bing - Sugoi - ChatGPT, but all the same, sadly. Some codepage misery/mystery or some such?
Attached the scenario file, in case needed. Would appreciate the help.
