I hope you succeed mate, Honestly you don't need to make 3 000 routes I think 2 main satisfy most ppl to be honest. Plus it's way more fun that way. Also, you might want to add the kinetic tag if it's a linear story as of now

lol No, more srlsy, I don't think I understood what you meant by that. If you mean that we can either have
- 2 main routes that every girl will follow (exemple : dom/sub)
-Or we can choose for each girl the route we want to follow?
From what you told me, yourslef being new to this and all I think the 2nd option would be a bit too ambitious.You'd have to make many variations depending on how MC act with each girl. I think it'd be a lot of work. Like imagine if smn just to test things made a 1 2 1 2 choices for each girl lol 1st girl he goes dom route 2nd girl he goes sub route... That'd be a lot of variation depending on how many girls you're planning to add. A bit like "Having A Hard Time" does.
Wheras in the other option you'd just have to do 1 update for each path (or even 1 update both path like Eruption iminent does) without needing to keep track and change every dialogues and scenes depending on what the player chose for each girl.
My advice would be to at 1st let players choose for each girl (to let them experience and see what they prefer), that'd be the 1stnpart of your game.In this part don't make the girls interract too much between them if you can avoid it
Then in the 2nd part which would be a turning point in the story You'd make the player choose (or you could make a condition smt like if more path1 than path2 set on path 1).
You'd still have to adjust some dialogues for coherence purposes but not as much as you'd neef each girl had a path for all the game.
A bit like Blossom of pleasure did. Although I'm not rly a fan of how direct and fast it was done. Dude litteraly turned into a chad in 2 secs lol. I'm more of a fan of the way Estate dominate did it, the choice was made mentally (as in the psyche of the character we embody) but the man still had to slowly "corrupt" them into submission without raising suspicions. It was decided which path we were going down but we still had to go through with it. It honestly felt like an RPG mindset lol. Ok I need to beat that boss but for that I need to attain a certain lvl get that item do this quest...
Now if you were talking on wether making choices related to the story or to the rlationships. I'd say I prefer story related choices. Especially in a story focused game, but your games seems more like a kinky game as of now in which I 'd prefer choosing relationships.
The best would still be to have both lol

I kind of do want to make multiple paths. The original game I was going for was abit darker; but as I'm writing I'm starting to like my own characters, so its abit hard to be mean to them. But I still do want to write some of that darker path. I might split the story in the future, or even when I finish this one; I'll go back and create a completely separate route, say one where MC manifests some powers and starts a breeding frenzy, or another path where the government collapses and it gores full dystopia, turning all males into slaves. These are all paths I've thought of doing, but time is a bitch and I'm the only one doing everything unfortunately

The futa content I'm going to do is going to be futa on female, which has allot to do with the lore of the world.Hey, didn't played the game yet, since it appears that it still has too few scenes and is on the very early stages, and i prefer to wait a bit more before starting to play in these cases. However, i am keeping an eye on this because of the tags and i also liked the girls on the screenshots.
Since you mentioned that you are taking into account the feedback being posted here, i will leave my 2 cents here.
So, you mentioned that you don't want to focus on adding multiple routes for now as it would slow down your progression, and it is understandable. However, i think that the game could possibly benefit a lot from having at least 2 different routes, or at least different actions in sexual situations, when regarding to act like a sub or a dom.
For me, the tags that made me find this game and get an interest on it were the femdom and futa tags, futa on female would be a plus, but the boy being a femboy is good too. Needless to say, at least i personally am not looking forward to dom the girls back, and would prefer a full sub route. But at the same time, there are others who would like to reverse the situation and put the girls in their places, and that's why i say that maybe at least 2 different routes would be a nice thing to have.
I also think that when you have a choice, it's what makes these interactive games differentiate from other forms of hentai that are set on stone. Even when it's something super simple, i think that when you have choices to make and they eventually lead to certain outcomes it's super hot.
I will give an example, of a very simple situation in a game that sets the tone for a future scene to get much better. In the game Keepers 2, at the very start you meet with a futa cat girl maid, after a brief conversation with her, her cock gets hard and lifts her skirt. You have 2 simple choices, to stare at it or to scold her. It's very clear at what each choice leads too, but it's also very fun to have the opportunity to make them. A bit later, there will be another scene where you will meet with this same futa cat girl again, and she remember the choice that you made, and things will change a bit based on that.
It's these kind of simple things that makes Ren'Py VNs more fun to play then just watching videos or reading comics, at least in my opinion. So i think that having choices to make improves the experience by a lot.

I think I can fix the camera problem with some scene effects. The light to dark is a good point, I think I'll add specific default menus for each character, to make it less jumpy. The scene length is abit tricky. I want to do allot of world building, but I don't want to make it boring. I try mixing lore and sexual scenes together to explain the story (Like Evie when the MC walks out in only a towel, to show that a male walking in only a towel is super sexual in this world). If I make that scene longer, it would just be a bunch of exposition. I'm aiming for the show, not tell method to explain the lore to the player.Looking back, I would say that the jumpyness and transitions problems are a combine result of the scenes being shorts, lag, the scenes turning light to dark in quick succession and the camera swinging all over the place.
As to how to fix it, I am not convince about the black screens within the scenes. Like between the demon and hospital, the headache, and the hospital and car make sense, but between camera movements not so much. I also remember, as trivia, that it's best to keep the camera on the same side as much as possible or else it's easy to get lost as the perspective keep changing greatly. Also, having powerpoint transition between scenes may help too.
As for karma, I get what you're saying. It's mostly something you gona have to keep in mind. I think the familly having a hostile/antagonistic stance is fine, but them actually acting on it could become problematic if done wrong. The MC being so obviously a changed man (from their perspective even if blinded by past experiences) has both potential and danger narratively. You could, for exemple, accidentally make a LI "kick the puppy" scene which would be bad for her favorability. But the idea of them having some kind of ptsd and trauma from the "old" MC is both hilarious and interesting.
Yeah, playing it again, I see your point; I'll fix those with scene affects so its smoother. I change the perspectives as a way to show off different parts if the character body, or POV shots. I feel it makes the scenes more interesting when nothing sey is going on.
Thats the tricky thing to balance. I have the lore of the characters in my mind, and I do want a kick the puppy moment to be the turning point of all of them. Think of it this way, to the girls; tier life long bully returns after years and suddenly starts acting all nice. The same boy that tormented them is now suddenly smiling like nothing happened, like he didn't cause all the misery and mental problems in their lives. And also in their perspective, what if he gets his memory back? Thats something else thats terrifying to them. I need one kick the puppy moment for them to reflect on, but I see your point; I need to show that their reactions have a meaning behind them. These are strong but broken girls, and the one that broke them is back in their lives; Except its not him. Its some one who will heal them instead. Atleast thats where I'm planning on taking the story.
