how? i send the 32.exe in and they confirmed it.false positive...
Plenty of renpy games lately with a 32bit exe version, and with a launcher.exe in the lib/windows-i686 folder have been "found" as a virus. But imho a false positive.how? i send the 32.exe in and they confirmed it.
It worked with the previous version but has not been updated here for 1.0.Gallery code does not work
It hit my Windows Defender also, since I do not use the 32 bit version, I let it clean the files - and the game ran just fine. Had to load a Save a little further back than I would have liked - but it works all the same.I would like some confirmation about the supposed trojan horse of the 32.exe before I try this version out. A word from the dev himself would be a good show of faith.
Mine said it was the Win32/Virut.BM virus... since I do not use the 32bit version I let it clean it off. Game played fine. See my post 3 or 4 above this one. Also got Trojan:Win32/Woreflint.A!cl notification.
I've no idea. My win is 64 bits. I was just mentioning to give some info to others. But weird that different virus was found.Mine said it was the Win32/Virut.BM virus... since I do not use the 32bit version I let it clean it off. Game played fine. See my post 3 or 4 above this one.
Yup! I believe them to be false positives. Like I said above - RenPy has been showing them for several years off and on. Different virus types from the same file just adds credence to that. Enjoy the game! It's worth it.I've no idea. My win is 64 bits. I was just mentioning to give some info to others. But weird that different virus was found.
Also win defender.
No virus for me after scanning with Bitdefender Total security (recently updated a week ago).I've no idea. My win is 64 bits. I was just mentioning to give some info to others. But weird that different virus was found.
Also win defender.
