I've discovered a way I can enjoy this game more.
You see, I was naively under the impression that Hectate was the primary antagonist of this story.
This is wrong.
LIN is the primary antagonist. Think about it. Look at the definition of the word " a person who actively opposes or is hostile to someone or something; an adversary: "
Fits Lin to a tee. Especially in comparison to Hectate, who, while certainly manipulative and deceptive, has engaged in actions that directly aid the protagonist, at least occasionally. Certainly more than Lin has done.
Of course I suppose it's entirely possible Lin is meant to be a tsundere, slow burn romance arc, to grow as a character herself and as a partner for the MC through the adversity and obstacles they overcome together, resulting in a satisfying and enjoyable conclusion that felt worth all the work it took to get there.
But if that WERE the case, I think it's safe to say the ball has been thoroughly dropped on that character arc.

This game story is no longer about the supernatural but your typical college VN. It's getting cliche and boring. Most of the release is just the MC and Rin's shenanigans with no real story impact. No idea how the dev can screw up the entire plot. Perhaps thinking dragging the story development can milk them a few more months of support

i agree with that. hecate killed/caused death of little anal-annie's dad. is she behind of love goddess' demise we don't know yet (might be revealed on nex 4 updates).
Needing 30+ updates (4 Years ++/5 Years) to address the core plot is the epitome of bad writing. Well, hecate killing is just the tip of iceberg. The next 4 updates will probably be more Rin/Molly/Teach Shenanigan. I would rather the dev release 1 full episode that focus on story. Otherwise, might need another 5 years to another hint of the core plot

Its also a point where I quite. Just go past it. The femdom stuff becomes optional after that. It turns into maledom after that instead.
Hate the lack of choice. Only care about one character, and the harem shit trivializes the romance.

Why play a game tagged with harem then? There are tons of AVN's where you can romance a single woman.

Yeah, I have always been tormented by this question who whine about the lack of elections, although most of the kinetics are created for harem games...
I understand some who want to give up one girl or something like that, but it is not necessary to complain everywhere knowing that it is partly most focused on the harem.
