I think JOHN is a lost cause. I loved that game...but it went from a steady progress to no progress.
(But fuuuck... that sex scene with Parker. I can die a happy man.)

MBD on the other hand has been very consistent since I started playing it years ago. The updates are frequent, but very short.

Different jurisdictions have different laws. Not being familiar with all jurisdictions around the world, I would assume there's at least one with this age requirement. But again, not being familiar with all of them, I could always be wrong. It could also just be a way of satisfying age requirements in the future as well (in case any get more strict).

Either they are trolling/rage baiting and you've been baited or... people nowadays don't read or take initiative to find out things for themselves before asking someone else. If I were to put myself into their thinking, my assumption of their thinking would be like: "why would I bother using time and energy to find something out if I can just ask on the forum and let someone else do/answer it for me, no effort involved." You're on the wrong path for this update. I had a dull menage a trois with Rin and Lin. You didn't miss anything. It was the usual boring 45 degrees angles from the side. It was boring and the update was done in maybe five minutes.

Such a waste of pretty faces. This game was so much more interesting four years ago.

As far as I could gather there are currently 3 paths.

Hectar path
Selina path
Sub path along with Selina path: Dom-Sub (With Victoria and female teacher)

Sorry if I got the names wrong

Last Lin-Rin scene is on the Selina path

Is anyone interested in continuing the walkthrough mod? I'm not sure there are paths other than what the dialogue indicates, but I've come across visual novels where I ended up locking myself into a bad ending way before the end without even knowing it, so I like to know what to do when trying to get certain results, and I know I'm not the only one.

There are basically 3 paths.
2 main paths
Dark or light path (Touch or mind control - corruption)
Then there is a Dom/Sub sub-path with the teacher.

Once you know that everything else is pretty straight forward.
The Sub path is kinda difficult to stay on since that is quite early on in the game and once you are off it, you cannot get back on it.The other major fork is when you have dinner with the Dark Goddess (Hectar?) reject or accept.

The rest is just choices between this or that. For instance, in one of the last updates you need to choose between spending the night with Rin or Molly (Mom). So, it's pretty obvious.

Choosing between two characters or choosing a side between two characters arguing, I think does not really have a lasting effect.

If you want to see all the scenes, you need to do keep track of 3 playthrough saves. You cannot see all scenes in a single playthrough.

Hecate. It's an actual Greek goddess' name, but since it's Ancient Greek... she might be less known outside of certain circles (you probably would only really know her outside of this game if you're into Greek mythology or if you're actually from near Greece). She was the goddess of night/magic/witchcraft/the Moon — it varied some over time.

Which path is better tho? I'm still early in the game (Hecate was introduced) and I wonder which path to follow touch or control? I'm leaning towards Selene more but I don't want to miss scenes if possible. I'm not into the twins if that helps.

Just started this game but its confusing because some of the text says the girls I live with are my neighbors renting, but then other dialogue we're referring to each other as brother and sister. Is there a way to change that so it just says neighbors all the time?

I don't know about the whole "neighbors" thing, but this game realistically was meant to have incest. Using the patch fixes things so they make sense.

Yes. And, because of what you described before, it sounds like it also better defines the relationships in the game so they aren't confusing.
