Real shame this got dropped. The art style and writing are unique enough that i never forgot about it
It's a tragedy. As you say, it's a very unique game within a genre which is full of overused tropes. It was painfully obvious though that she quickly ran out of steam making it and making games in general. If I had half decent coding skills I'd have created something in the vein of this.
Yeah same, i did get the spark to try and learn enough to cook something similar but irl stuff got in the way. Still holding out hope that either the dev comes back or something similar comes out. Like you said, in a genre full of similar stuff, this stuck out.
Also this art style is unique enough that idk if it can be replicated, the dev had that shit on.
