NTR or Netorare, is a compound and controversial word, where (ne) means "sleep", in this case, "the lover's sleeping with someone (cheating)", and (torareru) means "have something stolen/robbed" in Japanese. The specific idea of this story is cheating, but the roommate has not stoled the MC's lover - yet. Quite often, NTR end in depressed, regretful, and rage-filled characters, but this story is an exception, because it has a happy ending. I love this.
NTR means "cuckolding" too: when a heroine will be introduced as having a significant other, in a sexual affair. The story show the heroine being intimate with an other man, with the roommate, thus provoking jealousy in the audience, but in our case, not in MC. In our story with the MC, it is not a "classical" cucking, because, there is not an information about the MC, beeing a sad fucking piece of shit, and a lonely fat greasy, smelly, stinking masochistic fucking loser, having shitty taste. The MC only spots that cuckolding was a delightful experience of him.

In either case there's an argument for ntr here. He did not intend for things to escalate.
The dialogue could've been done better. Almost all of it was MC narrating through thoughts. Aside from that, good short ntr vn.

NTR has enough subsets that nothing is ever "quite" NTR. The boyfriend being a cuck just leans into it. Her not 'intending' to leave him is not the end-all-be-all of NTR. If he didn't notice, it might lean closer to "cheating," but he did. If he wasn't into it, it'd still be "as" NTR as it is. If he were more involved, or it were with people he doesn't know as well as a (eighbor, roommate, work friends), it'd lean more towards free-use, which isn't a tag we have and also has play-dates with subsets of NTR.

Why this game is the best of the developer? I think, this game is the most similar to a fairy tale. The roommate of course is an ugly faced, but, it is a tolerable one. The figures from other two novel are from the real world, so the gamer can not sympathize with them by heart, either with the neighbour, nor with the co-workers. They are not real rivals of MC. This is why, the adventures are humiliating to Zoey with enchanting beauty, and they are humiliating also to MC. This is why these stories are lost their attractive force to regame them so frequently, opposite to other NTR, cheating or cuckolding games.
