Well, you were just starting, and the story changes as it goes. The characters grow on their own sometimes, so no one can really hold it against you. You handled Gwen and Emma well. As for Aine, my suggestion might require you to rewrite her part in the prologue, but I think it would make her more likeable and improve the relationship overall.

The only tweak I’d suggest is to make her recognize him but not know how to face him. Show her agonizing a little over it while dropping hints that she didn’t bully him because she wanted to, and that she feels regret about it. Or, if you think that would mess up the story, then at the very least make her remember his name (When she talks with Freya on the phone, she says she even forgot his name lol) and that he’s still the guy she likes and wants to meet and apologize to, now that she thinks her mother has finally given her freedom.

That way, even if she doesn’t recognize him right away, it would still fit her personality. She’s a bit naive, and he did lose weight and change, so it’s believable.
I love it when people give really constructive criticism.

Quite rare nowadays.
Lately, we've only been getting people shrieking “constructive criticism” while rage-posting about everything.

Spotlight-hungry drama queens.

Full-time Karens filing bug reports like they’re HOA violations.

Self-proclaimed “experts” whose PhDs were printed off Reddit.

Copy-paste bots chanting the same complaint on loop.

And, of course, the timeless classic:
“Why is the update taking longer than normal?”

I find it hilarious when people go 'where's the next update?' — they always show up right after a post about the update. It's like they're doing it on purpose. It's so lazy...

Not much in terms of %, no.

However, MBML should be about 70% done overall. 90% of its main story is complete, and you can treat Chapter 2 as some kind of DLC to finish off the rest of the girls' arcs. It'll be heavily character-focused. I know it's kind of weird and unconventional, but I started all this shite with a mess of a structure and this is pretty much me cleaning up that mess the best way I can.

Sicae is about... phew... we're not even there yet. I'd say... 30% including the upcoming update.
Do you have plans on adding a secret route (a specific route that contains a heroine not found in other routes) to MBML chapter 2?

Hey, at least "heroine" was spelled right. A lot of people don't get:
"Heroine" = female hero
"heroin" = illegal drug.
Of course when so many can't even get "there" vs "their" vs "they're" right or "your" vs "you're." That would be a lot to expect. Note I'm not talking about people with English as a 2nd language, but native English speakers (nearly all American) who don't get that 3rd grade level English right.

Did you hear about such fenomena as American English? It have so many differences from native English of the Great Britain citizens that the one can suppose that americans aren't native English speakers :)

I stopped being overly annoyed by such misspellings when I discovered that the better my English got (I'm not a native speaker), the faster I wrote and the more frequently I committed them myself. What does annoy me enormously, though, is the almost complete loss of past perfect in American English, abuse of whom (i.e. use as a formality marker when it is not in object case and therefore traditionally ungrammatical), and incorrect use of the old first person singular forms. (Not that any of this is a problem in this game, as far as I remember. Sorry for the off-topic rant.)

I'm seeing people in other threads mentioning MBML is complete, and I was waiting for it to be complete before trying it out again, so I'm here to confirm:

Is this really complete? It isn't tagged as such, so I'm very confused.

Here's a post from the dev NiiChan just a week ago.

It is most likely not complete/abandoned, since the developer is working on chapter 2.
