I have not played this game for over a couple of years. I was looking foward to playing again form the beginning again but noticed that the last update (according to the date on the OP anyway) was a year ago. I would rather restart once a new update comes out. Any clues as to when that might be?

If it's so long since you played it, my advice would actually be to play it right now. IIRC, what we currently have is a long Chapter 1 and a completed, very long couple ending that you will likely play some day anyway. Why not do it now? That way, once Chapter 2 has some substantial content, you can replay from the start to get that content.

the dev has two games, this one and another one called "Sicae", there have been no updates on this game for a while because the dev was working on his other game: "Sicae", which was updated a few days ago, now the dev is back to working on this one

Guys, there are plenty of games and stuff to do while waiting. You can try some new games or replay this one to refresh your memory, just saying. ^^ I don’t get why anyone would rush a dev who’s already working on two games to get an update out faster. Keep yourself busy, it’s not that hard !
