I kinda feel like mom/son incest doesnt really fit this story even more after the relevations after the last chapter (sorry sorry mommybois, please dont hate me). Am kinda curious how thats supposed to develop

The only buildup reasoning i saw so far could be that klara is a irresponsible alcoholic but that would be kinda sad

That's why they're side girls.
As I mentioned, Chapter 2 no longer has a significant main story. It will mainly tackle the characters. So it's their time to shine.
