Because NiiChan don't want to abandon it and we don't want that either.

Sadly, it would become the norm to have the censored game, for all the incest game if it continue.

I can call ESE the canon ending and call it the game if that's what people want. There's literally no main story left in ch2.

Well, I've noticed "clean" version of this game today. Not gonna lie, I was mad at first, but after a while I've realised that I don't give a fuck. To me, it was never a story about incest. Family felt like vehicle to the main plot and was rarely mentioned during romantic development. And since main story is over - well, I don't care who Sky/Klara is to MC. So far, this specific relation was not obstacle and I don't think it will be in the future.

My only potential issue is with distribution of chapter 2. If it's going to be shipped with prologue and chapter 1, then replacing scripts may be a hastle, but not something super complicated

Then you can change the roles of the childhood and landlady characters again.
Simply copy this Script.rpy file into the game folder and overwrite the old one with it. Maybe back up the old file first, though.

Isn't it better to just play the old version at this point?
By the time he releases CH2 a patch may make more sense, but right now I don't see the point.
