But I wonder why there are rewrite dialog for sky and klara? Isn't the relationship just be landlady and childhood friend something in the vanilla version if you are not using the i-patch?

If Francis hadn't known at that time, and Shu had gone dressed like that (and not revealed himself), the former would've done his damnedest to bed the latter. At least there was a good bit of comedy with Shu saying goodbye to his dignity once Francis got freaked the hell out and ran away.

I just don’t get why people immediately jump on the devs for something completely out of their control (in this case, the forceful moves of payment companies and then Patreon). For many devs, Patreon and Itch.io are the primary sources of income, especially for those whose games use HS models. I get that losing your favorite element can leave a bad taste in your mouth—I’m a fan of incest games myself—but the devs aren’t obligated to be martyrs in this purge for your enjoyment, especially when Patreon ban is often unpredictable. Call it censorship or whatever (tbh it definitely is), but at the end of the day, devs are just regular people trying to survive and keep making the games people enjoy. And this game isn't even a full-on incest game! I honestly stopped treating it as one because the recent updates focus more on other LIs. So yeah, the incest removal is annoying and disappointing, but given what Niichan and other devs are dealing with, it’s an understandable choice.

Sure its understandable, but it doesn't ruin the game any less. I have seen other games get away with stuff on patreon, that didn't have patches or name your relationship. I have seen other devs not changing anything, or censoring things and they are fine. So why now, are some changing all of a sudden.
Its just a shame, I do get it from the dev standpoint, but I can never get behind a watered down shell of its fromer self for a game. I am sad, cause this was like a top 10 or close to it if not, now I lost all motivation to play, I really want to, but just can't play anything less than the intended true story, not this.

The bigger the game, the bigger the chance of it getting nuked if the censorship overlords don't like it. I've seen a bunch of smaller VNs use songs, logos etc. that would get any bigger game taken down and that's not a viable long-term strategy. Adding the recent censorship wave on top of the constantly increasing chance of Patreon finding something they don't like with MBML, it's pretty clear why the change was made.
