The dev has two games, this one and another one called "Sicae", there have been no updates on this game for a while because the dev was working on his other game: "Sicae", which was updated last month, now the dev is back to working on this one, and if I remember correctly, he said he'll finish this one first, so he can go back to work on "Sicae".
Here is the latest progress report from the 13th of this month...

I hope the script changes don't need to result in Nii having to change too much over future parts of the story, or interferes too much with his vision to the game. It never seemed to be a big focal point to the story, so I'm not too worried, but you never know.

The previews look great as always.

Future updates are set regardless of the changes. We'll be leaving most of those behind in Chapter 2, aside from Klara and Sky's thing. I'll stop pulling plot points from the I-word from here on out.

Despite everything, I'm sure it'll all be alright. I believe Ch2 and everything will come together in the end, just as it was always meant to. :giggle:

Hey guys, can someone give a short summary on what's going on with this game? Looks like it's going through some kind of rewriting, was story finished?

No, the rewrite is due to the new BS that is infesting the NSFW world (no incest, no step-incest, etc.) that is severely impacting the devs; so now the dev has to rewrite everything in a way that not even implied incest is present in the story without destroying the plot.
Regarding the story, let's say that the main plot is almost finished, but there are still countless of unanswered questions and character development to be covered.

Main story has progressed a lot and is probably closed to being done, I think he said the new chapter will focus more on character relationships.

The rewritting is not going to change the major plots, it's just changing some of the relationship dynamics to be covered in case there is drama again with Patreon / Itch.
