It's just good sense to not name yourself after a well established game that's been around much longer. People would be similarly confused about Harry Potter: a story about a man named harry who makes vases. Don't be defensive.

*sigh,I though College Daze game finally got an update this month.Turns out this is a new Daz game that I dont care.Change the name,bro.
So AFAIK there's no rule that you *have* to change the name, but it would still probably be a good idea since the other one is pretty well-known here and if you don't you're probably going to keep getting a lot of:
and people are just going to click away thinking they were tricked instead of actually giving your game a shot.

I'd think a title like "Undeclared Major" or "Major Developments" or "College Life Lessons" or something could work.
I mean, not all college names are going to be as good as College Daze (which, again, the other game took first) or Being a DIK.

Thanks to all the folks bringing to my attention that another game shares this name. I will be changing it as soon as I think of a good alternative, It was completely unintentional and I would never intentionally do this. Feel free to make some valid suggestions.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I had never heard of the other game until someone linked it and then the other game is HTML and not Ren'Py. Also it appears the other game is using real porn assets and you are using Daz, so it not as if you are ripping someone off and G28 does not own the rights to College Daze as a title anyway.

You could just go simple with it and use College Days, as well, which is surprisingly not taken (at least from a quick Google search.).
