I think you misunderstood, 15 years of adoption, not 15 years old. since he was alive before they adopted him. Unless it said it as age as well.... but well he doesn't look it... so probably just 15 years of adoption but 18 years old. so adopted when he was 3. and given that missing bit at the end, imma theorise they possibly kidnapped him or something?

When the MC was a baby and wandered into the woods all alone, a guy saved him and adopted him.

18 years later the same guy turned into the generic homewrecker this type of porn game usually bases on, and the MC hates his guts? Like really? Can't we go with the other generic reason a.k.a. mysterious disappearance/death instead?

Replace "real parents" with birth parents or progenitors, and fake parents with adoptive parents and I'll consider it.
Calling adoptive parents "fake" is highly insulting and for someone who was adopted, I find the synopsis offensive!
