No. Unren can only unpack the .rpa and .rpyc files. It can't unpack the .zip or .rar files.
There is no trick really. You definitely have to do both boxing training. Make sure to switch to the better cards and then savescum because even with better cards you will be waiting for the second guy to get a bad hand. After a while he will.

If you're using my walkthrough mod, it seems there was a missing comma in a line of code that I had completely missed, which is the cause of the second error seen in that screenshot. I've uploaded a fixed mod now. Or, you can drop in the attached bugfix, and extract it to the main game folder (where the game executable is located). This should replace two files; the affected script file and its companion compiled version.
