I tried it, i can load fine. Have you deleted the presistent file from your save folder? (The one that really matters, at C:\users\.....\RenPy\My_cute_roomate) so it doesn't interfere? I mean if you saved upon an older save, it could cause save corruption. For me, when i delete the whole save folder there and start anew, everything works fine.

Unlock the roomate's office through her questline. The director of said office is Barb's mom. But you'll only find that out if you check the photos on her desk (is very important).
Do the photoshoots with roomate. So do the photoshoots with Emily. You need to be on good terms, so you had to start off by letting her in, be polite, "love photographing". Buy book about photography in shop, read it, then do the shoots with Emily. Each one you can. Afterwards start talking with roomie, she'll want some shoots to be made with her. Do that. She'll request another, more intimate one which may or may not be needed. But after all these she will say she need a photographer at her workplace, just try talking with her each morning before she goes to work, at dinner, and when she watches TV. She'll bring up the topic after a while.
