It was not that it was bad per se, just the game breaking bugs at release made it hard to play it. I still need to play last update since it was just to bugged when I tried it.

I wish this developer would get a good writer. The game has great graphics and gameplay but the plot and dialogue is horribly bad.

That's modified source code from 10 months ago, it won't work with the current version.
That's like expecting a mod for Minecraft to work on Terraria.
As a rule don't expect Ren'py mods to work from one game version to the next.
