Only 2 things would cause the Hypno vids Not to work;
1st) you have failed to complete a task (the game will tell you that)
2nd) At Some point the Hypno vids become "unnecessary" (might be Once you finish your TF)??

I did change most of the characters' names. Nick and Gerald and Robert are hookup choices which you end up living with after your parents kick you out.
I am not even able to leave the house wearing female clothing as of yet so this wouldn't be relevant towards the office job. I was more asking as to why it was being triggered. Apparently, I was to still wear male clothes. Which is weird when the game specifically asked for the most feminine clothing I have.
It's not that they aren't playing, the Computer doesn't even have the option to press Hypno Videos at all. I only have: Masturbate, Camwhore, Hookup, and take pictures. The Hypno option straight up disappeared.

Did the dev forget to put the mask as an obtainable option anywhere on the self route? I saw earlier about flipping it on in the console with:

SugarCube.State.active.variables.hasfmask=true;

That's a hack of course. We conveniently have a costume store in the mall in this latest version where the MC can buy one form of the nurse costume and other things relatively early on. Why can't our non-master, non-mistress roomie mention something about that when they talk about camming for a living? The costume store and/or the sex shop would be the first thing most folk would think of getting a mask to go slumming around in public. Hell.... in a post Wuhan world, the MC is probably already wearing one because it's mandatory. In fact, it's kind of prescient that the VN Hentai University has a crossdressing character running around in an N95 when they go out in public en femme.

On my last self tf route playthrough, I ran into a couple of problems of progression where the MC didn't have a mask. The first was the plotline where John and the gang drop a hint about the MC showing up in a nurses uniform. So we can cosplay for them in that and manage to go out in public to travel to John's house with it on without any trouble, but we can't go anywhere else in CD mode because we don't have a mask? The second was we managed to get some action in a back alley in the red light district in male clothing yet didn't have the courage to do that in CD mode without a mask?

So for this to trigger, what I did is refused to wear the cage, rejected to go live with that dude and chose to stay home, I rejected Katie/master route and am basically on a Self-TF solo route. Once you go do a hookup, you get booted from home and get to live with whichever one of the three you chose.
I think I may have hit a dead end then, as there is no way to progress the mental change for MC to fully feel like a girl or leave home wearing clothing, again as I don't have a mask. I will take a look again to see where it is sold.

Actually on self-tf route, my MC was able to cam-whore without a mask on. They were doing that before even doing hook-ups. So that's another plot hole that the dev needs to fix on the self route by making the mask obtainable on it.

I think the current end is when I have to leave the room with more feminine clothes. I have triggered it again. No matter how feminine the clothing, I keep getting the message "You need to wear more feminine cloathing". There's even a typo lol. I am wearing the see-through clothes with the pink pumps.

One other bug I forgot to mention in earlier posts: There's no way to take off a collar once you have put one on. It kind of blows up the look going to college in male clothes with a collar that says "Fuck Toy". The old biddies give MC shit for it out in public, but I have no problem going to class with it?

Too lazy to check the entire thread to see if someone already mentioned but I noticed an issue. This update took quite a long time, and I could have probably released it sooner but I have my reasons for not doing so. I just wanted to take some extra time to smooth out a few imperfections in the early stage of the game and some mechanics that I wasn't very happy with.
I think I'm pretty much satisfied, specially with how I managed to make the wardrobe interface a little more intuitive and compact.
Anyway, I'm happy to be back on my regular rhythm.

I pulled it from tfgamesite a couple of days ago and already have a couple of things to report:

The new cosplay cafe thing allows me to apply with the boss for a job and pick my first uniform while MC was still living at the parents house. However MC was still working at the first waiter job so that "Go to work" only goes to that job after putting on the waiter uniform as usual. There's no way to put on the cosplay uniform and leave the house to go to the cafe. The uniform itself doesn't have shoes like the male waiter uniform. Is this intentional?

Going the self TF route and just after moving in with Liam, you are attempting to reference an undefined structure currentTasks in a number of conditional macros when the MC attempts to access the computer:

I just tried going to work again after moving in with Liam and selecting the schoolgirl costume and ended up at the cafe for mc's first shift. Yet MC is still too chicken to leave the house in girl's clothing? I had the outfit augmented by the black stockings and black flats from the mall, and this seemed to work. The dev is probably taking a shortcut by not having mc leave the house in male clothing and then using some sort of employee locker room to change into the outfit at work. This could stand to be fleshed out better.

The "go to work" seems a little bugged. On a saturday morning, MC gets dressed for cosplay and goes to work a shift at the cafe. Then I had them change to the male waiter uniform to work at the restaurant for a shift. It was only then that the "go to work" flipped to already worked today.
