This is one of the best analogies I have ever read. It makes me want to throw a party.Let me make something clear here:
1- I'm here because what you made so far and what it seems will come our way, is something I like.
2- If there ever are things I dislike, I will assume it is NOT done to piss me off (I don't have that opinion of myself) and will find a way to live with it if I can still enjoy the rest.
3- I've been playing this on the perspective that I am a guest in your house, enjoying what you choose to serve us. I'm not about to go check what else you have in your pantry and pick and choose like I'm owed anything at all. Thanks for the Tapas and the Beers is all you get, but they are genuine.
4- I have a high tolerance for kinks, even to those that I don't really care for, except, and I'm sorry for this serious defect in my personality, for humiliation (either male or female), Rape (again regardless of gender) also all forms of non-consensual sex acts. I'm not keen on sub/dom dynamics from either perspective, can almost tolerate it if it's very light and done in a playful context, but, if I ever had my way, none would be preferable. None of these are complete absolutes, if well anchored in a story and not gratuitous, I can understand it. Just be aware that I will NOT like it, but the world isn't made to my tastes.
5- Up until now, all that has been served in this banquet you are serving has been enjoyable, this leaves me very comfortable in your driving of this story. More of the same? Yes please. Surprises on the way? Don't make that to an anxious guy, but please bring it...
Peace![]()
Continuing with it, if there is ever a tapa that you don't like, you have every right to say that you don't like the broccoli sandwich and that you think it doesn't go with the rest of the tapas, or that it's not at the same level. But there will never be broccoli sandwiches that are mandatory to eat or that are there to annoy those who don't like broccoli. They are there in case someone likes broccoli (never trust someone who likes broccoli).
One day there will be beers and another there will be sangria. There may even be non-alcoholic beer one day. But it will always be served trying to make the guests happy.
After you play 0.8 I'd like you to tell me if you think the first scene, if you wake up in the woods, falls under what you have no tolerance for (I don't want to spoil anything). Again, that scene wasn't put there to upset anyone, but if I put snail yogurts on the menu and no one tells me that no one likes them, maybe I'll make the mistake of putting them back on the next party. It's my first party and I will make mistakes.
There will be surprises, don't worry. Nothing that would cause a heart attack, but you know I like to keep the party guests a little off balance. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't.
Everyone is welcome to join the party as long as we are able to have a pleasant conversation. And all opinions about the quality of the food are welcome.
You can even complain that the cook never shuts up.
