I think there are different definitions of what NTR is and it is a very sensitive topic. As you indicate, there are different scenarios with a lesbian relationship between two harem girls:
* They do it without the MC's knowledge: NTR .
* They do it with the MC's knowledge: Sharing with a female .
* They do it while the MC is there participating: Threesome. All the characters are happy .
* They do it without inviting the MC when the MC has shown interest in participating: Kicking out of the harem (Just kidding, but don't let it happen again ).
But that's just HOW I UNDERSTAND IT. Other people may think something totally different. And their opinion will be just as respectable as mine.

The issue of threesomes is complicated as well. I have said that there would be different types of threesomes in My Dorm:
* 100% MC-centric: Girls don't interact with each other. No problem for anyone
* MC-centric with bisexual or bi-curious girls: Same as the first one but at a given moment the girls can interact. I just have to hide those stills/animations/dialogue for people who have chosen to block lesbian content. After that, I'll make sure the story stays coherent.
* Party for everyone: Everyone interacts with everyone. As in the second one, I'll have to do magic to hide the lesbian content. It will be a very short threesome.
* 100% Girl-centric: MC and girl X don't interact with each other, but both interact with girl Y (the center of the threesome). This is a very special case and there is only going to be one of them in the game. As for X to be in the harem the lesbian content has to be enabled, there is no problem.

The thing is... more girls is more better (lol). If I like girls, what is the problem if the girls I like also like girls? I don't lose anything, on the contrary, I gain MORE girls. I dunno how else to think about this...

The problem here lies in the issue of exclusivity. There are those who want their girls only for themselves. I like my character's dick to be the only one that gets close to one of my girls (once the relationship has started, the past doesn't matter to me). There are people who extend this to their character's tongue being the only one that gets close to one of their girls. I understand and respect it but I don't share it.

There are several factors involved. One problem for me with a lot of lesbian stuff is that it is forced and becomes boring. If every girl is “secretly bisexual” it just plays into a bad trope and makes all the girl feel the same. Not every girl would want to “play” with the other harem members, but many games make every girl into a lesbian as soon as they can. As if the MC’s penis turned her into one, which is odd. A girl going from the shy sweet girl next door type who never even watched porn before and was a 100% virgin to a carpet munching lesbian slut for all the other harem members doesn’t work for me. If the MC was to meet a pair of girls who were already in a lesbian relationship and they were bisexual and joined the harem that might work, but what almost always happens is such girls corrupt all the non-bisexual girls into lesbians.

It is also annoying in games where it feels like the MC is a third wheel in his own harem. Like the harem is actually one of the girl’s harem and the MC is just the only man in it. Like a dildo with a heartbeat instead of the main character.

On a personal anecdotal note, I know a guy whose wife left him for another woman. So that added to my dislike of inter-harem activity, especially if it happens without the MC being directly involved. And I was already not really being a fan of lesbian stuff. I never found it that hot. I tend to find it boring most of the time.

For me, as long as the girl only interact during threesomes (or other group scenes) with the MC as the primary focus (and only male obviously) then it doesn’t really bother me all that much. For example, let’s say there was a scene with the MC, Nora, and Daphne, and while the MC was in Daphne, Nora was kissing her and playing with her daughter’s boobs and more. That would be totally fine. But if the next day the MC walked into their house and saw Nora on the couch with Daphne eating her out, that would be really weird and off putting and totally out of character.

These are just a few of my thoughts and so far I think TropecitaGames has done a good job of making every girl feel different and I have no worries about him messing up at this point.

That's my approach. A majority of the 28 girls start the game as straight. It won't be logical for all of them to become bisexual by the magic touch of the MCs dick.
I'm a lesbian content lover as an individual, but as Tropecita I'm a writer first, and I want the VN (emphasis on the N) I'm writing to be as plausible as possible (inside the genre)

For me, it's more logical that, in the heat of a threesome, a Y's boob (f.e.) passes in front of X's eyes, and... "Yum! Why not?". An example would be a girl who watches a lot of porn and her expectations are based on it (Emma, why are you blushing? ), may want to do something like that because she sees it as normal without even feeling bisexual. Only because it's her reference.
That can happen and won't turn X into a lesbian, not even into bisexual. She won't do it if the MC wasn't there, even if the Y shows X her boobs. They aren't in the same circumstances that allowed the first Yum! to happen.

The first part of your Norah/Daphne example is what I am talking about. It may fall within a logic within the heat of the moment. The second part would not make sense, as you say. It would make much more sense that when the MC arrives, they would be on the couch planning what to do in the next threesome and commenting on the previous one, since it has been a new experience for both of them. But it has been an experience that included the MC. And the two are in love with the MC, not with each other. They love each other but they are not in love with each other.

Girl X can only be a love interest with the lesbian content unlocked. With lesbian content locked, she will be around, and she will talk with the MC and the rest of the girls, but there won't be a relationship with her. When I introduce that girl, there will be a menu to unlock the lesbian route ONLY for that story arc, unlock it definitively, or leave it locked for the rest of the game. It will be a bit of a tricky menu, but it will be there.

I'm greedy also. I would never share my girls with another man. But if I were to make the game exclusively for myself, I wouldn't rule out that maybe there would be a couple of girls having fun together while waiting their turn with the MC. In that case, I wouldn't mind sharing.
But I decided against it for obvious reasons. The MC wants to make the girls happy, not just for them to be happy, so the MC will be present in every non-masturbation orgasm the girls will have. If any girl has an orgasm and there's one person there, it's going to be the MC. If there is more than one, the MC will be one of them.
With the girl locked behind the lesbian choice, you also won't see her having an affair with other girls... without the MC present and participating. Also, she can be locked individually by not opening her path. And she will be one of the girls with whom the player will have the option to opt-out of the relationship once started and once seen the type of content there will be with her.

Scarlett and Daphne are the less lesbian thing in the house. As they said at the costume party, depending on the paths, they have been accused of being lesbian in high school because they didn't want to date the guys there and were always together. Lesbianism has bad connotations for them. That's the reason they don't see the kissing practice as a lesbian thing. For them, there should be feelings between them for those kisses to approach anything lesbian.
