As they said at the costume party, depending on the paths, they have been accused of being lesbian in high school because they didn't want to date the guys there and were always together. Lesbianism has bad connotations for them. That's the reason they don't see the kissing practice as a lesbian thing. For them, there should be feelings between them for those kisses to approach anything lesbian.
