Not at all - everyone's brains are wired uniquely, so whatever works works. I intended no critcism at all - just saying that fewer posts-per-page on a thread as active as this one would just drive ME nuts. But in most cases I'm a weirdo outlier, so I never expect my choices to align with the choices of the majority of the bell curve.Speaking for myself here but 20 posts per page is easier and quicker for me to read all of it than 100 posts per page.
I know it doesn't make sense because it's the same number of messages in the end, but yeah.
That is definitely a drawback, especially if you don't log in for a couple of days. Then, I have to admit, I usually give up partway through and skip to the end, for sure missing a whole spate of clever and funny posts.It's more encouraging that you're making progress if you don't have to scroll forever to get to the bottom of the page.
