But putting that aside, I have a side question that has nothing to do with anything important, but continues to scratch at my proverbial brow every time I'm about to start your game ...
... Why is there an ico file of Samantha in the main folder, which isn't the icon of the game, and doesn't seem to be attached to anything, and makes me do a double-take before I start the game every time ('cause it's called "My Dorm" and the game is "MyDorm" so it's right above the exe file)?

The Samantha icon is there because when 0.7B was published the game didn't have an icon yet (it used Ren'py default one). 0.7B gave some false positives with some antivirus because the .exe was the Ren'py standard one and it was tagged as a virus. I tried to change the exe's hashtag including a custom icon (Samantha's) to avoid that, but it didn't work, still false positives. I haven't removed it because... I'm an old man and I forgot about it.
Why Samantha's icon? Because I was working on her date when the antivirus thing happened and I just made her sticker for the Discord server, so it served also for the test.

Honestly, I renamed all the renamable characters. I love the girls, but the default names range from "actively a turnoff" (Martha, Norah) through "too generic" (Emma, Erika) to "eh, don't care much, but not a fan" (Daphne). Luckily, almost all the non-renamable girls' names are fine except one (Patty), and I'll just use URM to change that one. There's another non-renamable I changed via URM, too (Debbie), but that one's not your fault; my stepmom's name is Debbie, and I don't ever want to romance someone in an AVN with that name.You are a heretic who renamed Martha???

I get you, but considering the game you're playing, I still had to chuckle at that ... That said, I wouldn't choose any name of someone I know well enough to have to look at them side-eye the day after a game session (at least not consciously ...)

Except for Saira, Eileen, Kiara, Kalyani, Norah, Kate, and Erika, the rest of the names are more or less random or directly the name of the Daz3D base model (Emma, Scarlett).
I usually like two (phonetic) syllable names for girls and one-syllable names for guys when I write in English or names that can be reduced/contracted (Samantha <> Sam, Erika <> Eri). Patty will be called Patricia more often than Patty, since the second was how she was called as a teenager.
The only Westley quote used on purpose was "As you wish" and I don't remember in what update I used "inconceivable", but I love that movie, so perhaps some unconscious use of quotes may have slipped.Okay, all not-Martha's aside, that was a fun update. The overuse of Westley quotes and side-eyes was hilarious, not to mention the progress made on the harem formation was fun.
I still feel like I should get some inspiration credit or something ...

I love it when some reviews seem to be from other games. I always thought there should be a system to answer the reviews directly, but since there isn't one, I should answer here to LordOfMurder. In green his review, in blue my answers:
The one nice thing we seem him do is warn his cousin her boyfriends cheating on her, but this is immediately undercut by this being a harem game and the MC basically cheating on everyone at the beginning. Cheating? On who? Please, explain. He hasn't cheated on any girl because when they have decided to start a relationship he has been sincere and has told them there are more girls.
I guess to the games credit after a while the MC starts opening his hookups with by telling the girl of the day that he has another girlfriend and the relationship will have to be an open one. Only open one way though because again this is a porn game. Well, it's a porn game. I think no one is here to read a faithful version of Snow White.
The reasons for the girls to accept this are a little weak and depend a lot on how far you're willing to stretch suspension of disbelief. There probably should have been a better explanation like, pheremones or mind control or an explicitly magical penis to better convince us that 20+ girls are all willing to share this pretty average guy. Right now only 12 want to share, and some of them not so willingly. I don't remember rendering or writing dialogue for the extra 8+ sharing girls you talk about.
I'd be fine if the game leaned into and the MC admitted he was just being a horny bastard but I'm supposed to believe the MC is a saint for letting all these girls bang him at the same time. At one point the cousin even catches you cheating on her with mum (No cheating on Erika, since they aren't in a relationship yet) and she talks to your mum about it. We get the absolutely absurd explanation that banging other people immediately after talking about entering a relationship (But not entering a relationship, Erika tells the MC she has a lot of things to think about before doing it) is totally fine as long as you didn't explicitly say it wasn't allowed (Please, re-read that conversation. Martha says it's not cheating if Erika and her then mysterious man haven't explicitly entered a relationship because Erika had to sort her thoughts). And this is coming from the MC's mother who starts the game being furious about her husband cheating on her without saying anything?! (She was in a relationship. Erika wasn't)
The next issue is that there are just too many girls in this game. The game starts off with just 6 (5) family members but the number quickly balloons out of control until theres something like 16 girls (There will be. 7 girls haven't arrived yet) just staying at your dorm/house + another couple of handfulls living elsewhere in the area.
Even if you try and limit the size of the harem to just the girls you happen to be interested in which is at least offered as an option, it turns out not to matter since you still have to sit through most of the dialogue with them, you're just skipping the sex scenes. I don't know you, but when I'm not interested in someone, that person doesn't disappear from the world; I would have a big problem since I'm not interested in most people who produce the food I eat. You can choose if a girl enters your harem, not if she vaporizes or is abducted by aliens.
As for the scenes themselves, the models can be a bit hit or miss but there's a wide enough range that at least some of them will be attractive to everyone but by the same token some of them are going to turn people off. That's why all of them are optional.
The animations are also often jerky and the positions obscure a lot of the action most of the time. They're reasonably frequent but again because there's so many girls you'll be waiting a while to see your favorites. Imagine if you play a monogamous playthrough how much you should wait. It becomes a choice. Or imagine if your favorites were the ones left out of the game.
By the time the students arrive at the dorm which is like 6+ hours in I just couldn't put up with the dialogue anymore for such a small payoff and gave up. 6 hours? A lot of CTRL pressing, right?
