Oh, yeah, P key was a secondary problem to the Q key, I forgot.I think I misunderstood what you wanted in the beginning then, since I removed the P key (that was the error you got with the first fix
And the "q" key doesn't toggle the quick menu for you?
This one is tested on v0.14.2-S2C2.2-pc.
Edit: You're not using the "old UI mod", are you?
Q key pulls up the "Quit" command. Every fix I've tried either crashes or does nothing.
P key on the 1st (2nd?) mod release you made does work to pull up profile so I'm good there.
Not using any mods at all, other than the patch.txt file and your... 2nd (1st?) bugfix to the mod?
And I'm not using the "old UI mod".
In any case, I can get to the profiles page now, so we're good there.
(That was the only part I couldn't access before, but it's ok now.)
I tried the fix in the post I quoted, but the Q key does nothing now. No error, just... nothing happens.
But the P key now works fine, so we're good.
By next release I'm sure you and Trop will have the bugs ironed out.

Well that's a case for TropecitaGames because I don't know what's causing that.
Maybe check in the profiles that you are indeed on Norah's path other than that I don't know.

if you are only on Norah path there, Erika should leave. or other way around if you are with Erika

Which would, keep the Quick Menu hidden, because that variable isn't touched in part 2 anymore *laughs in German*
Could you:
- throw this rpy file in the game folder,
- start the game,
- load a save,
- test the "q" button" and if it works,
- delete the for_TheSidewinder_only.rpy and .rpyc

there is no option of any kind to say up to that point (went and scroll) in latest update, just proceed from pool its all automatically, Erika leaves and you stay alone with Norah.brother you don't understand I'm not getting the option to say yes

Can you load before the scene* and check the Profiles for Erika's route? If it is off but should be on, than it's a known bug we can't really fix except tell players to set the route to "on" manually in the Profiles.brother you don't understand I'm not getting the option to say yes

Edit: *at least a few dialogue lines or better in the scene before you see them by the pool

That's correct, I turned it off in a previous release by using the Q key. I briefly wondered if that was the cause, but wasn't sure where to look to find it.
And thanks for persisting (pun intended, lol) with this.
I'll test that file now.
