I can't put anyone on the /ignore list. It feels antithetical to the purpose of being in a Conversation place. I am also a believer in Free Speech, by default that includes that bad speech can only truly be solved with MORE speech, not less.

Unfortunately it seems the overlords feel differently. Because in many threads they seem to look the other way when trolls and others post thinly veiled off-topic hate and only step in once anyone tries to respond and educate, it makes Ignoring my first option nowawdays.

Like you I would prefer to reason. I could debate just about any topic ad nauseum in a cemetary until the dead would rise from their graves eventually just to get away from me. But it also is quickly obvious who is listening with an open mind and who is merely there intentionally making inflammatory posts to get reactions, and those people aren't listening no matter how hard any of us try.

So I have NO problem Ignoring individuals once they have been given a chance or two to engage constructively and instead go on being pointlessly inflammatory. Especially since the PTB don't seem to ever step in until long after the fact anyway...and then they just punish everybody because it's easier. [As the oldest sibling this is definitely triggering. ]

But I am glad there are more patient people than me out there like yourself.

There's nothing to get hung up on, these are DAZ and renderer issues, these things happen often in many games... I'm sure this isn't your first time playing AVN, and you've encountered many renderer errors.

This only applies to people. I gladly and frequently put threads on Ignore. Lately it's mostly Sandbox shit. Getting close to the point of Filtering it out for good. Like I already did with something else.

That does seem counter-intuitive ... although can there be Steam links (other than in sigs)? If not, that would be the only thing that makes sense ... that F95 won't link to direct purchase sites, since Patreon/SS is subscription and Itch.io is "donation" and Discord/Musk-laden site is promotion ???

Nothing to do with promotion I think. Other Stores are all fine. EXCEPT THAT ONE. That decision was also made waaaaay back when he had like 200 subs.

Oppaiman isn't a store per se. When you "buy" a game, you don't pay them. You purchase a monthly subscription to Patreon (the dev specifies which Tier you should subscribe to get the game through Oppaiman).
In my case, even if Season 1 is available to every tier, I put it at 10€ (Emma's tier) to be coherent with the price I will put it on Steam (if I ever publish there).
Obviously, since Oppaiman "forces" the player to subscribe to my Patreon, they have access to Season 2 and the first chapter of Season 3 in a single payment, but I guess I'm a special case and every dev publishes there the current update instead of one Season from a year ago.

I could guess why Oppaiman is Damnatio memoriae on F95. That page belongs to the developer of a game known for its "Fresh Girls" (the girls could have grown up) and we know some devs are at odds with F95 staff (or, more precisely, the staff is angry at some devs by whatever reason).

Don't think thats the reason, I'd remember that. And if the Dev was banned there won't be any Games from them here anymore. Its just that site.
