Yeah pineapple pizza is in a few threads liked and hated.

I have had veg pizza with zucchini on it but none with squash, small zucchini was used sliced thin and put down like pepperoni the other vegs put on top. The one I tried also had mushroom, onion, tomato, orange peppers the cheese was mix of pepper jack and mozz put down 1st with the sauce put over cheese. It was good.

National Pineapple Pizza Day is August 20th
I'd slice them thin with a mandolin and do just that. I will always be down for mushrooms, and I've had roast garlic, spinach and artichoke hearts as well. Those all work great when handled correctly.

I guess I must mark August 20th as a day to disavow for all eternity.

Speaking as a vegetarian...

Although (full-disclosure) I do currently hold the Guinness record as the World's Fattest Vegetarian and I avoid too many vegetables if I possible can. Sue me - I like my cheeses and starches. I only accepted onions occasionally on pizza when my adult son shamed me into it. But at least onions have good flavor. Has anyone? anywhere? ever? said that about squash or zucchini?? Now, if you told me that baking either of them starts some sort of drying & delicious carmelizing/sweetening process (I would believe it with some squashes) you will have officially piqued my interest...
You sound less like a vegetarian and more like a cannibalistic potato-head. :ROFLMAO:

As I noted above, I'd slice very thin and the way I usually roast squash/zucchini is in rounds, seasoned with salt, pepper and a mix of herbs which changes with my mood. I'll often sprinkle with Parmesan and hit with the broiler at the end - this gives a bit of caramelization and crispness and, well, CHEESE! If you throw garlic and thinly sliced onion rounds on as well, you get those flavors blending in with the squash as it roasts.

I'm guessing you've just never had vegetables prepared by someone that knows what they're doing. ;)

Don't think it's a "windows quirk" despite my deep and abiding love of blaming all manner of things on Microsoft and their accursed OS. Usually this just happens when a user (like me many a time) left-clicks a link to an attached .rpy file named "anything.txt" and then chooses SaveAs while viewing the text contents of the file displayed as text in the browser. Better practice is to always hover over links to attached files to first determine the file type before clicking, and right-clicking and choosing SaveLinkAs for any file types that your browser will open by default instead of starting a DL (like .txt, .rpy, etc.). Or simply change your default browser action for .txt and .rpy extensions to DL or to at least prompt you by asking each time.

(Assuming the patch file was DL-ed from another site because here on F95 the link is to a "patch.rpy" file inside an archive,)
To be fair, if your Win-PC is set to hide extensions, and you tell windows to create a new text file, then NAME the text file "patch.txt" that can happen without you realizing it. And since he said "adding the empty patch.txt file" makes me think someone (maybe someone I can't see) told him to add the file, which they then manually created, rather than downloading. So it is possible to make that mistake without realizing what you did, and without all those other steps.

(and I'm 1-2 pages behind the conversation, so I might be digging up already buried dogs ... but I'm too tired to find out)

Yes, problem solved already.

Trope95 or any uploader that may control the PC/Linux upload files:

I downloaded the full "Season 3" file, from GoFile tonight via FireFox and, when I unpacked it using 7-Zip, I received a "Header Error" notice. I deleted, grabbed again from Pixeldrain and got the same error.

I opened the file, loaded a save and things look fine, so I don't know that there's any actual problem. When I searched, there were only two other posts with the term "header error" and the most recent was from August, 2022, so I don't know that anyone else has gotten this warning, or if anyone has had any issues.

Again, it looks like things are working, so I don't know if the owner of the uploads wants to check to see if they get the same error upon opening the archive, and maybe upload a "clean" new version if so, or just tuck this info away and have it in case others start reporting the same thing.

Never had that error on any other VN file I've downloaded from either source, and I've always used 7-Zip after downloading and have always used FireFox. It seems to be an error without an adverse consequence, for me at least, but now the information is out there.

Speaking of which, I don't think I've ever seen a pizza with squash or zucchini - those might actually work on a vegetarian pie...
I've tried zucchini pizza just like Wookie said. Thinly sliced and mixed with other vegetables and ham.
About squash pizza, I only tasted it once, but not as a topping. It was a caramelized squash cream replacing the tomato in the base. Fairly good. The toppings included minced veal and truffled oil.

I never heard of anyone having that issue but, for 0.24 (the currently published version here), I can't take responsibility for the file state. It was leaked and I don't know if the leaker did anything weird with those files. I use WinRar and have no problems with MY files. I haven't tried the ones uploaded here.

and save there, just for safety can also have save few cgs before that. that usually works for updates with most games and you dont have to load old version to find save that works.
This is why I personally would have preferred an export/import; you can force that so people can't accidentally skip past (like on a repeat playthrough where you just want to lock in different choices for the next season) and it would avoid so many repeat questions.
However it's a design choice made by Trope and each has it's pros and cons.

That joke flew over the heads of a lot of people.
A Canadian in another dev's Discord got angry because he thought it was a bashing on Canada and got nitpicky because, in Canada, wives don't get their husbands' last names.
She's from Montreal because of txe320 and she got her new last name because the joke wouldn't make sense without it.

They'd probably just HALO in - no boats required. Exfil over land to a zone where they could get chopper extraction to a friendly base. C-130 back home. ;)

The other reason is perfectly valid, though.
