I guess about two years of content are yet to come (it could be a bit more). I won't milk the game if there aren't stories to be told. When I finish all the stories, the game will end. The epilogue is already written (and uploaded to Patreon/SS in text version with a trigger to be released in case I do a Robert Jordan).
Why am I still here, chatting, joking, and being open? Because talking with the players about the game (and about other things) is one of the best things in this hobby/job. I don't care (when it comes to chatting and joking) if those players are paying players or free players. I will answer every question, the same I do on my Discord, where there are a lot of free players too. I also consider friends some of the people here, so no reason to leave.
There are players here (a lot) who started as free players and moved to support me on Patreon/SS. There are other players who are willing to buy the game on Steam when it's published. Others support me by talking about the game on other threads and recommending it. The second biggest issue (when it comes to earning enough to make a living) for a one-man-team dev like me is getting enough visibility, and people who put a banner in their signature, who talk about the game, or who make fair reviews (no need to be 5-star reviews, I only ask for fairness), help a lot with getting that visibility.
