It's just confusing to me. I'm new to this, and I haven't played any games with "seasons".
So I DO have to download more than just one version of the game. And do it in order, I guess. And when I reach a critical save point... and I do save, what then?
I'll just download one at a time, and get the next versions once I complete the one I'm on.
I don't have to do anything with the save file or anything from the old one? With most games on my computer, I would just copy it and paste it to the new one but idk here.

If you are new to My Dorm, the recommended way to play it is:
Download and play Season 1 until the end.
The game will do an autoexport (it can fail depending on your Android device)
Download Season 2 and IMPORT your Season 1 savegame.
If it failed, start a New Game and answer a quick questionnaire.
Play until the end.
Save your game.
Download Season 3 and LOAD your Season 2 savegame.
There isn't a questionnaire.
The game will recognize the savegames from previous seasons, so it will be able to import the Season 1 export in Season 2, and load the Season 2 finale save into Season 3.

I'm on windows tho, if that matters at all or changes anything. I used to have a phone dedicated to games like this, but not anymore. I'm most likely gonna turn my current phone into one strictly for computer games once I get a new one, just for the portable aspect and saving some space on my PC's hard drive.
The phone I have as well/the new one I get soon would be used for that, except they decided to get rid of sd card slots for some dumb reason a few generations ago ): Having 1 tb less storage than I would like really blows XD I could download all these H-games, as well as the different seasons without worrying about space too

Do you have any predictions regarding the release of the gallery for first chapter? After you told me, I stopped making saves of my own. Also because my saves start in the wrong place.

The Steam version (and with it the one that will have the gallery) is being proofread. It's a big Word file.
And I'm interrupting poor Crow with new updates every seven weeks, so he has made around a quarter of the proofread.
The rest will be a bit easier for him, since he already proofread it, but he's an even better proofreader now, so he will re-proofread it. Season 1 is planned for release on Steam in August (I changed it recently).

Looking forward to it. With a gallery like yours you can relive the whole game by cutting out the less important parts after reading it the first time. I have never seen a gallery like that. It is not a gallery but a summary that makes you relive the important things by starting them from the right place. I don't know if you made it up or if there are others around. I've never seen it.

Special Render 58 - Norah - Free Edition
Well, the update has been released, and it's the moment some of you have been waiting for, when a special render appears to announce that in less than 24 hours, the game will reach the next tier. In this case, Norah's.
This time, I am doing Special Renders based on cartoon movies from my younger (and not-so-young) days. All from the same studio, and all of them easy to guess. Perhaps the hardest to guess is the first one, but since tomorrow the update arrives in her tier, I couldn't pass up the chance to start with her as a foxy archer from a 1973 movie (I watched it years later; I was a baby then) set in medieval England.
Enjoy the Full HD render (4K for subscribers).

My idea with the gallery always was to be able to play a single girl's whole story (instead of only her lewd scenes like most games do). That meant doing a save-agnostic gallery, where you could see the outcome of different choices, but I didn't know how to do a gallery then, and even less how to do it in a way that wasn't dependent on the saves.
With time and a lot of help, I got my idea running. I never saw something like My Dorm's gallery on other games (but it's been more than three years since the last time I played a game, so perhaps now there are some that do it).
I'm very happy with the end result.

I play a LOT of games, probably enough for both of us, and I have yet to see anything even remotely like that. Sure, separate the sex scenes by character, is common, but the whole scenes? Like a story focused only on that character?
That I have never seen, or even read about anywhere else but in this thread.
This is like a Gallery 20.0. (No it isn't a typo)

Is there a downside to getting anyone pregnant first try in season 1? Like missing scenes etc.?

No downside. You will get different dialogue, but won't miss any scenes.
