I'm coming in late, but the only non-integrated functions for this game (after part 1 -- and eventually part 1 will be rebuilt to embed all the functions of the "mod") is the "patch.txt" file, which is an empty file that needs to be added to the game folder if you want to play the "other" version of the game (the one indicated by the previous graphic). So if that's what your question is about, then yes, without the patch it's 0%, and with the patch, everyone who WOULD be is 100% (not everyone is though).

If that's not what your question is about, then sorry, I'm lost.
I'm referring to Scarlet's DNA test

Oh.

In that case, it's 99.7% if I remember right. With family mode on, she's you half sister through your father.

Edit: On that note, the "original" version of the game is officially both the clone and family version. I think if you ask people here which version they consider canon however, you'll get a nearly unanimous response of family. :KEK:

If we think about the story without patches and mods, would it be family mode or clone mode? Because my game is apparently unpatched but it is in clone mode.

Would the patch be a fix or would it be more of a "enable incest" thing that some games have?

Well, here's some additional context.

Patreon doesn't allow incest content, and has cracked down on games that include it. So you will almost never see a Patreon dev state that their game officially contains lots of incest. And for many devs, that includes here on F95.

If you don't add the family patch, only clone mode is available. If you do add it, all it does is restore the option to choose family or clone version.

Interpret that as you choose. ;)

Got it, I'll download the patch. Anyway, do you recommend playing the game from scratch or restarting the S3?

I haven't played the clone version, so it's hard for me to compare. But I will say that "family" comes up in discussion and in scenes a lot through season 1 and 2.

If it was me, I'd probably start fresh just so I'm not completely lost in terms of what the family tree looks like. Especially since clones still exist in family mode, it's just that fewer LIs are them.

As far as I remember, Emma, Dafne and Erika are clones of Amanda and Eva. In this case, Dafne and Erika are not Norah's blood daughters and Emma is not Marta's daughter. Olivia is Betty's sister and Norah's mother.

Any differences in the family mode?

I don't play with mods, I always download the game without any modifications. The question is, would the original game be 100% or 0%?

For not playing a modified game, it's in Portuguese, so it isn't the official release, aka it's moded.
In the unpatched version you are right.
In the patched one:
Norah and Martha are sisters and daughters of Olivia. Betty and Olivia still are sisters.
Emma is Martha's bio daughter and Erika/Daphne are Norah's.
Amanda is a clone of Emma and Eva is a clone of Erika or Daphne.
Scarlett's DNA test result is different.

You would be surprised about how many people prefer the unpatched version. I was really surprised, and gladly so, to know that perhaps (with my limited data) it is 60-40.

The only ones who should play the unpatched version are the members of the Patreon censorship err... moderation team.

Everybody else should play with the "family" patch. ;)

I don't know about other games (I got sick of Landlady/Roommate shit before I stopped playing, that's why the patch is the same for every update and the players don't need to wait for a modder to do it), but My Dorm was designed with the two versions in mind.
I know people who don't like incest. I thought only a small percentage of players would play it unpatched, but I was surprised of how many of them play without the patch. Perhaps they aren't vocal about it because they think they will be bashed for their tastes.
Keeping both versions running (more or less) smoothly is a lot of work, I swear, but knowing a significant percentage of players play the unpatched version make me feel better doing exclusive content for that version (like Scarlett's DNA reveal)

Finally finished season 2 completely. Now I have a new sticker of Toothless Eric View attachment 4409760

Thanks!
I'm happy you enjoyed Season 2! There are a lot of scenes I loved writing and rendering in those 8 updates. You just named a few of them.
The DnD will "return" but not as we've seen it. It would derail the "real world" story too much.
Now you have two updates to catch up with the current content!!

I'm not surprised. I've run into quite a few people here and on Discord that are not into it. But as for me? I'm all about the family!! :KEK:
