New version, new players with the same concerns as those who have already played it. I consider it logical. I don't share the worries but I understand them.
There really are things that surprise me, like all the trouble there seems to be when two girls who ARE NOT LESBIANS kiss each other for practice.
I guess growing up with 80's porn, where you didn't know what scenes were going to appear on the VHS you rented, made me consider mainstream things that today, with porn on demand and 40 filters on PornHub, are no longer considered vanilla.
Don't worry, My Dorm will continue to be true to itself and those kinds of comments won't change what's planned.

A lot of the problems is that a lot of "harem" games has the women turn bi out nowhere. Then game goes to a poly not harem game. There are not many pure "harem" games on the sight. It does get boring when most of them go the same way all the time.

Wow. How fast this game went downhill. The concept of family or forbidden relationships are just in the name only. Its been 2-3 days sinch he came back home and already talking about and actually bedding his own blood. This game would make more sense without the incest tag actually.

Perhaps these lines shed light on MC's mindset about 'taboo' relationships (this happens on Day 2)

Remember that some relationships that were taboo for our grandparents, in today's society are considered acceptable or totally normal (interracial, same-sex, age gap, etc.).

He only cares if he loves the individual girl. He doesn't care about her age or if she's family as long as he loves her.
He also doesn't give a fuck about her race, religion, or origin.
For him is easy: If he loves some woman, he wants to make that woman happy. If he thinks he can't make her happy, he will take a step aside.

Though I'm playing this game without any patch, I have no interest in sex with blood relations, even if it's fictional. Guess I'm a clone lover.

Some characters can be bi at the start of their story (NOT SCARLETT OR DAPHNE), or some characters can become bi-curious in some circumstances, but you won't see a Norah-Erika scene (for example) in Norah's room (as hot as it could be).
You could see, when the harem is established, a repeat of the 'Erika catches Norah with MC' scene with Erika joining (I'm not confirming or denying anything here). You won't see an 'MC catches Erika with Norah' scene and joining.

I watched Tadpole and Spanking the Monkey an age ago on a weekend-long special about 'forbidden relationships' on a Spanish TV channel. There were some incestuous films like those two, and some about relationships that were 'taboo' in the timeframe of the movie (same-sex, interracial, cucking, etc.). A very informative weekend!

If you are playing the game without the patch, then you will be on the clone line, so no blood relations (I call this the Patreon-friendly version). There are differences in the dialogue between the two versions (not a lot right now). On 0.6 you'll read a conversation not available in the patched version (the players who play patched will read a shorter conversation) that will bring insight into one of the characters' personality.

With every update there are new players, and I don't hope for them to read through the 48 pages, so I sometimes use an answer to a topic to remind the players (not necessarily the ones I'm replying to) about things already talked about in the thread.
The different fetishes are specific to each player and no one should have any say in them. It is for that reason that everything I don't consider vanilla will be optional. The problem is that what I consider vanilla may be different from what another player considers vanilla.

On another site, someone asked me about the harem state at the end of this update, so I copy my answer here, in case anyone is thinking about it (this situation is with every girl unlocked at the first chance, obviously):

Right now:
Eileen accepts the MC is with other girls, but only knows about Erika
Erika hasn't accepted anything and only knows about Norah and Eileen
Norah has greenlighted the MC to be with other girls but doesn't know about any of them
Emma is in the same situation as Norah, but accepted reluctantly
Daphne knows about Scarlett, but not the other way around
Simone hasn't accepted anything and isn't in a relationship with the MC. Wednesday lunch will advance the situation.
Samantha and Scarlett don't know about any other girl

MC has a big dick, so...i think its easy to undertand what she meant, what she is and why she is a BIG NO.
As I say, I only hope he doesn't start a relationship with any of the game mothers, because all of them have fucked someone while not in a relationship with MC.

Well, Kond next point summarizes that it's not a problem with the game, but with his concept of ruined girls or his understanding of my English (coming from someone with some grammatical and spelling errors in his review).
2- Erika (Black bikini, far right): MC's sister (if I.Patch enabled). First problem: She has a boyfriend.
Second problem: She only ends their relationship after MC proves that he is cheating on her... this implies that if he was a good guy she would not and we can safely stretch and say MC is the second option. Third problem: For me, it was clear that she wanted to lose her virgnity with BF but was insecure. Her having a BF only works if she decided by herself end their relationship because she likes MC better and wants to pursue a relationship with him. But the way it is, a NO for me.
1.- Erika is MC's cousin, not his sister
2.- Erika has a boyfriend. She dates Jack BECAUSE he is the closest thing to MC. She says she has always compared her boyfriends to MC. That should give the idea that he IS the first choice, but he's an option 2,000 km away, in college, and he's also her cousin, making him an unavailable option.
3.- She's afraid to lose her virginity, for fuck's sake! What game are you playing? She's been dumped previously for NOT wanting to lose it.

And he continues with the hardest-to-understand sentence I've read in some time:
*This game has a weird characteristc, its slow burn and fast paced at the same time...hard to explain.
My Dorm should be like a Zulu with vitiligo, no offense intended against Zulu people or people with vitiligo. Black and white at the same time?

I know everyone is entitled to his opinions, and I can understand his other points, and even share some of them, but that review has frustrated me.

Yes, mate. I've tried reapplying the patch multiple times and it still doesn't work. When i first loaded up my save in the new update it was without the patch because i forgot about it, could this have caused it? It was never an issue for me before now.

If you advanced in v.0.5 and saved and then reloaded that save, it can cause it, as from this update on I check the incest patch at the start of the day
Try this: Once applied the patch reload the v.0.4.5b save and advance a bit. If you're on Emma's path, she should say this

If it's applied she should say the first part and if not, the second

If you're not on Emma's path but you're on Norah's you should advance until the end of her scene and look at this

If you aren't in either path, you should advance to Scarlett's scene in the park, when she speaks about the plane crash


If it doesn't work, or you've overwritten the 0.4.5b save, tell me the line of dialogue that is in the last screen of the older v.0.5 save you have and I'll create a patch exclusively for your use.
