I tried it once after getting a false sense of security about liking Pineapple on it's own. It was a new level of pain/disgust/torment, the psychic damage taken was immense... not my thing honestly.
I'm just the other way around. I don't like natural pineapple. It didn't disgust me, but it's not something I would order if there is (almost) any other dessert.
Pineapple on pizza isn't my favorite, either. I won't order it for myself but, if it's ordered in a friends' meeting, I can (and will) eat it without any issue. Then I will ponder if I need to change friends, but I will eat it.
I won't eat a pizza if it has bell peppers or anchovies, though. Those are the mainstream ingredients that really disgust me.

I will say anchovies are absolutely worse than pineapple, If drunk enough I may eat pizza with pineapple but anchovies are literal evil.

I've had it, which is why I'm not a fan of it, but if someone orders one, it needs to at least have jalepenos as well. I do like grilling it or otherwise cooking it with a bit of rum - good topping for ice cream or short cake.

Green bell peppers are awful - if I want that much chlorophyll flavor in my food I'll trim some grass from the back yard. I WILL cook up red, orange and yellow bell peppers in any number of dishes, though - hot Italian with peppers & onions is a nice dish. ;)

I also don't mind the anchovies, though I do prefer to mince them or use them to add a bit of umami to sauces and such. The best way to use them on pizza isn't whole fillets, but minced fillets mixed into the sauce or lightly sprinkled across the pie.

My work ordered us pizza on the 19th, and they order one Hawaiian. But they added olives:sick:
Green or black? Black wouldn't make it worse; green would make it exponentially more unpalatable...

I remember when this thread had more discussions than circle-jerks ...
It's a dangerous time of year for someone with a username like yours to post comments with a distinct soupçon of curmudgeon. Might emd up with some dickhead like me calling you 'Ebeneezer.'.. :sneaky:

I will agree that they are harsh, but I love em anyway; they're def a lot better chopped up into smaller pieces so as to be less overwhelming.

But more importantly, I must congratulate you on your amazing sense of taste. To be able to specifically taste the pigment molecules embedded in the thylakoid membranes inside the chloroplasts inside the cells with cellulose cell walls we can't digest...that's remarkable!!! :p
They were green
Now so am I. That's just gross.

I've seen black a bit and even eaten it once or twice at functions, but I've never heard green before. I almost wonder if olives weren't a regular topping where those pies were ordered but the customer insisted so they threw the only ones they had in the restaurant on there. What's next? A used tampon/condom "Fluid-Lovers" special?

On that lovely note...Happy Holidays to everyone in this thread that I havn't Ignored.
