Special Render XLVI - Lisa - Free edition
The final render of the art series is a homage to Velazquez's Venus in the Mirror.

I certainly prefer Lisa's body, although Venus's wasn't bad for the time she was painted.
Tomorrow the Subscriber Cycle arrives at Scarlett's Tier, and I will start posting 0.23 previews next week.
I hope you enjoyed this little series. I had a lot of fun doing the renders.
Full HD render (4k for subscribers) to sweeten your eyes these last days of the year.

If you don't mind, instead of commenting on you renders, that are awesome, I'll comment on your choice of artworks.

Each of them were masterworks, not only for the chosen theme, but for their expression too. Each of them are decidedly relevant to the study of Art.

While you impressed me for your rendering, posing and overall creation of these homages to GREAT works of Art, I'm even more impressed by your choices in the first place.

Kudos.

I'm lucky to have been in front of the five originals I used as references in the real world.
Choosing only five works of art was hard. There are so many masterpieces out there that I had doubts about which ones I should use.
Goya's and Velazquez's were obvious choices. You know I always try to promote Spanish culture, and if you ask a Spaniard about a nude painting, almost everyone will remember the Naked Maja. And Velazquez's is amazing.
The third nude (Botticelli's Venus) was the one I had more doubts because of the rest of the painting. I removed the other characters and left Eileen as the focus.
The dressed pictures were "easier". The Gioconda is perhaps the most famous painting in the world. And I wanted a statue (I like sculpture better than painting) and that was a hard choice. There are so many amazing statues out there (a lot of them lacking arms) that it was hard to decide.

I enjoy sculptures too, but, paints are my jam. I've spent many, many, many hours in small, almost unknown museums here in Portugal. Not looking at master pieces, but, at the sublime art of the forgotten painters. People whose name is known but by a few, that worked not for fame or money, but of LOVE.
Sure, those works pale in comparison, yet, exceed in substance. I've seen some incredibly beautiful paintings. More than a few unsigned.

Peace :D
