You are North American just lilke the US born and the Mexicans sorry, (by the way Uruguay is in South America ) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
It's surprising how few people seem to realize that.

I've taken to using "US" or "US citizens" when making reference rather than simply "America" or "Americans". Though, I think we're the only agglomeration of states and territories on the two continents that use the word "America" in our official name, thus the more common, but slightly less precise, terms.

Yes, that is right, but you forgot that there are 3 Americas, funny fact is that you have a geographical denomination (as we have Republic east of the Uruguay/ Republica Oriental del Uruguay) as your country name.

"Central America" is still part of the the North American continent, but it's often referred to as a separate "America" by folks. And, if you want to get really pedantic, the real long form would the the "United States of the North American Continent*" - but nobody would say that and chanting "USNAC! USNAC" just doesn't have the same ring to it. ;)

*Plus Hawaii. :ROFLMAO:

Awww! I'd die to have one of those in my hands, no, really you have a nice fauna over there
That was a doctored photo - this is what the Western Pygmy possum really looks like. He's a cute little fella. We do have some extraordinary wildlife here. I've had crocodiles in my street, a rock wallaby used to come in my yard every night and play with my dogs, I see snakes and pythons coming through constantly.

Nah - it was "South America" before the canal. That area is basically a land bridge between two continents, just like the one that is now covered by the Bering Sea between Eastern Asia and North America.

While I agree if you're comparing the entities as a whole without qualifications, stylistically they're so different and doing such different things with their storytelling ... I think it is fair to say that what each one does well is as good or better than what the other does well, and that both can be true at the same time.

But really, they're both fantastically-told stories and don't really deserve to be compared, IMHO.

All that said, don't start another pineapple argument!
