However, there is very little to say. Now that I'm replaying it, the first season had a soundtrack that was 10 steps ahead of the other seasons. For the renders, it's the opposite. Trope has gotten better over time.
Yep, he did. Compare the poses stiffness in the beginning and how natural and relaxed everything feels now. Notice also how much better he got at the Camera angles. Not to mention lighting and general management of the scenes.
He's becoming very good. I've been impressed and envious of these skills for a while now. The best part is the subtlety of the body and facial expressions, sometimes in Part 3 I stood there looking at the image trying to figure out what could make it better, I really got stumped a few times. Photography wise, he's way, way above my abilities, even just as an admirer.
That picture in B&W of Maddie he published a few days ago, my chin hit the floor. That was Art. I still have that render in my mind, it's like it got printed in my eyes.
I am a true fan, not only of the story, of the characters, of the general tone of the project, but also of the visual aspects of it. To be honest, I feel that the only thing curtailing Trope right now, is the limitations of the Models and Daz. He's rapidly evolving above and out of the Daz3D capabilities. I hope that in his next project he gives a try to Blender, I think that after some initial adaptation pains, he'll be able to evolve his already great skills to new unimagined levels.
I've discussed this with people with academic formation in cinema and photography, and they agree with me that the skills needed to create good content here are very similar, there's even talk of starting to teach it in some places. Pairing it with coding, the visual arts and the writing arts can become a rather interesting study subject.
Notice that I didn't mention the H scenes, this story and this game is actually one of those rare gems that if there was a "Fade-To-Black" in those scenes, it would still be enjoyable.
Peace
