Best kind of nun.
Story Time: I was 16 when I met them. They were friends of my mother's boss. She was a teacher, he was a writer. They were married. She had been a nun, he had been a priest. They met in their religious functions. They were, in 1980,in their 30's, probably closer to their 40's. We spoke for hours and hours about religion, about the church, about the disease called Belief. Their story wasn't tragic, they said that after meeting each other, they quickly realized that there was only one thing wrong in their lives. They fixed it. Never saw them again, since 1980. Heard they moved.
She was kind. Had a bright laugh. Not at all like the nuns I met throughout my life. He was more silent. Chain smoker. Had a very deep voice and at most a smile.
The only ex-nun I ever met. Knowingly.

My nieces when they were young loved these guys. So much so they begged me to take them to a show they put on near us. The show was cringe as fuck but the girls enjoyed it
They liked this song in particular and still to this day if either hears the words "fruit salad" they'll yell "YUMMY YUMMY!" They're both adults with kids of their own now, so seeing that when it happens is always amusing as hell.
