I finished Season 1, started Season 2, loaded my saves, patched the game, and the button says “family”, but Mark's mum is Martha, not “Mom”. Shouldn't it be “Mom”?
Can someone tell me if it is error?

It's strange, I'll admit. If in S1 as you have written there was Mom (assuming that you didn't change default names in introduction) it's mean that you played with i-patch active. Then you loaded your i-save in S2 and as you confirmed started with "family button" and not "clones". So it should keep the game using mainly Mom when referring to Martha.

I tried with my S1 to start a new game (you made me do something unholy) and with i-patch active the default name is Mom, without is Martha.
Now I don't have the patience to skip until the end of S1 so i can't load a i-patched save from it into S2, bust starting a new save with the questionaire and having "family" button the name used is still Mom. I don't know why with your playthrough is like playing the "clones" version of S2.

That's working as intended. The new interface shows the name of the sayer instead of the "nick".

Or Madison instead of Maddie

The easiest way for you to continue is to start a fresh new save using "start" in S2 and answering the questionaire (remember to left Family button active before)

I made other tests to be sure using the questionaire to start two runs of S2 and only when the "clones" button is active the default name is Martha. With "family" button is Mom as the previous image I posted
