Now I want a version of My Dorm where I can rename all the characters.

Take all the existing names, toss them in a randomizer, and play with the results.
That would be an interesting thing, especially if a certain character's name (which I will not say to avoid invoking THE HORDE) is given to another character. What would happen if that specific name is said here? Would it still invoke THE HORDE or would they be all confused?:devilish:
Or imagine if some player renames everyone as The-One-Who-Shouldn't-Be-Named, and he asks a question about The-Girl-We-Know-As-Emma, saying the forbidden name, and the horde gets confused.
Y'all are playing with fire! Cosmically bad things might happen if you're not careful...

In regards to certain scenes in this VN.

In most cases If a police officer actually witnesses an attempted murder or an assault on an individual. they don't even need the victim to file a report or press charges. they can do it themselves based on their own witness of the crime, and that is even if the victim says they don't want to file or want that individual to go to jail.

I agree, and that's why Alexia arrests Jack without the MC filling.
But I think (and I'm not an expert in US law) the assaulted individual has the right to press charges, and that's why the MC ends up in the police station.

A lot of times if they can claim to be "protecting' women or children it'll just happen even over the protests (if any) of the woman/child involved.

Yes, I know. But if the woman/child wants to press charges, they can do it, right? If the victim doesn't file a report or press charges, then the officer will do it on their own.

Not sure. Don't think it'd matter HOW the charges came to be. Just that they are - I'm no lawdog tho. :)

Victims always have the right to press charges here. As far as Law Enforcement Officers, it would depends on a couple things. Whether it was a misdemeanor or a felony, if the LEO is lazy or proactive... if it is a felony the LEO has to make an arrest regardless (especially with bodycams on every officer in the country now) or if the fight is between cohabitating partners and there is proof of violence (one or both parties has marks, scratches, bruising, etc.). Then an arrest is made even if the victim refuses. However, if both people have marks resulting from some kind of violence most often both get arrested. If the action is a misdemeanor then the LEO has discretion.

So, from what I understand, Alexia acted correctly on both of Jack arrests.
In the first one, in the bathroom, she was a witness to the assault, and in the second one, outside the cafe, she witnessed how he attacked the MC, first with fists and then with a knife.
She was also right when she asked the MC if he wanted to press charges. If he had refused, she would have filed the report on her own, right?

Man you really have a one way track mind... I suspect that you love Pineapple even more than I do.

Peace :)

p.s.: I shared one of the songs with that preciosity called Precious Wilson. She haunted many of my formative years wet dreams.
Seriously, without joking about it for once; the only reason I hate it so fucking much, it's because I throw up non-stop when eating it.

Honestly, it smells good, so I understand why people would love it, just... I don't want to spend the day throwing up like I'm a firetruck.:ROFLMAO:

Mate, I grew up in Africa. Pineapple was ever present. I don't recall a time where we didn't had Pineapple at home. We mostly ate the sweetest variety called "Abacaxi", the normal one was used for juices and it had to take sugar.

So, while I understand your problem, it really is so far away from my reality that it is Alien. BTW, I have the same reaction to something everyone seems to LOVE, Avocado. Just thinking about it was enough to make my stomach roar.

Peace :D

Avocado is extracted from used hankies, you can't change my mind. :)
I can eat pineapple, but preferably as part of an ice cream sundae or something. It doesn't belong on meat or pizza.
I cannot eat avocado either.
