A dogmatic view doesn't allow for exceptions, for nuances. It is authoritative and issued as a command with the purpose of discourage any musings. It is also, quite often, offered as LAW, with or without proof. It doesn't mean that they are right or wrong, it refers only to the way that they are proffered or issued.

I "joined" it because I was going to officiate some friends' wedding (religious weddings don't have legal value in Spain anymore). I stayed because it's free and they have a PhD program. I'm a PhD in Theology in Baconism!
